I'm at Prague airport flying back to Malaga, and I bump into some Rangers fans during check in. So I ask, you making your way to Sevilla?
Prior this, I had seen on the news thousands of Rangers fans making their way to the Andalusian capital Sevilla by any means necessary to be there to cheer the boys in blue on their first European final since 2008.
Over 150,000 Rangers fans were expected to attend, and being only 2 hour drive away, how could I not go?
More so with the fact their opponents were Eintracht Frankfurt, who they themselves took over 30,000 away to the quarter final leg v FC Barcelona.
A football warzone was on the horizon, and I needed to be there.
Thankfully my friend Johnny decided to make the trip worthwhile and come with me. Also a big thanks to him for lending me his camera to shoot some footage when my phone was charging and over heating. Im sure he enjoyed the day as much as I did, we had a great day out together experience what the gers had to offer.
However, we were both absolutely gutted with the full time result. I can only imagine the scenes had Rangers won.
But that won't change the experience, myself, Johnny and the many Rangers fans had that day, Win or lose they all Im sure made memories for a lifetime.
Hopefully we can make it to the Ibrox one day.
Thank you Rangers Fans, and good luck for the 2022/2023 season.
