Last weekend I took a road trip to the island of Koh Lanta, which was a 5 hours journey. At first I wasn't aware of the Island until the day I had to travel there. We booked the airbnb the night before we traveled, and to our surprise the island was completely separated to where we initially though we were going.
The drive was very scenic, and we had to take a ferry to the island. I really loved the island, it almost felt like I had left Thailand. They had some of the best resorts I've seen, the beaches were out of this world, we had been swimming in the ocean while it was raining, that's how warm the water is out there. I could go on and on about this Island. I hope you enjoy the vlog and if you ever come to Thailand I would highly recommend visiting this island.
We rented the car from [Drive Car Rental](www.drivecarrental.com/) in Phuket, this was the best one we found since most car rentals won't let you leave Phuket with the car. The staff is very friendly and professional, and the insurance on the car covers everything.
