I Took my ‪@Seadoo‬ Explorer Pro 230 to THIS Shrimp Boat and several things broke!!
In this episode I head offshore in my SEA-DOO Explorer pro 230 in search of giant fish. I found this shrimp boat anchored up with massive fish schooling around it and instantly hooked up. The Sea-doo explorer pro handles the offshore conditions amazingly well and is the ultimate fishing jets!!

I don’t know how many times I traded beer for shrimp and I mean a lot of shrimp. I always take a case of miller or Bud off shore. Just make sure you have a great big cooler for the shrimp.

I had a feeling that it was the ole Jack Crevalle from the get go! I thought that the lure got hung up in your net at first, but then laughed out loud when I saw that it snapped in half! We just ate a jack a few weeks ago. It was pretty good. We bled it and removed all the dark red meat. I will definitely eat it again.

I have a TowBoat US subscription, they will come get me if I break down. I carry a radio, Garmin inReach satellite messenger, and a PLB rescue beacon in case stuff hits the fan. I would never go offshore without having alll 3 of those.

Man you are a glutton for punishment! My days of wrassling with those guys are over. When I did target them I used a conventional reel with 50 mono and a stout rod. You could put the hammer to them. You just have to get a reel made for casting so you wouldn't backlash. You definitely have a point about the lack of leverage on that Seadoo. It doesn't seem like it is a good platform.

@@southernsalt I called Halls motors in Daphne and Mobile. They don’t have the Explorer Pro and won’t be getting any more for some time. I thought they could essentially order one, but they said otherwise. Did they have yours in stock or did they order for you? Any other suggestions? Thanks again!
