Well semua… my time finally came to take my shahada here in Malaysia… 🥺🇲🇾 I know a lot of you guys have prayed for this moment for many years now & I am so happy to share this extremely special moment with you all 🥹 Alhumdulilah, I am part of the Muslim family now. I will not be a perfect Muslim overnight but slowly, slowly I will try my best to be the best Muslim I can. I understand the responsibility I have with my platform here on KZfaq so please don’t judge or hate but merely pray for my path into Islam. ¡Alhamdulillah! Welcome to Islam, my Muslim sister! I am also a convert to Islam (didn’t grow up with any religion, studied many religions, after reading Qur’an I took shahada in Ramadan 2012 in USA). Based on my own experiences as a convert, and knowing how overwhelming it can feel at the beginning of this journey, here are suggestions that help keep things simple and grounded: - Remember Allah is boundless Love, Mercy, Compassion, Justice, and Peace. These are Allah’s Qualities toward us, and Allah also loves to see these Qualities manifested in us by our character and behaviors. - Know that Allah loves our striving. You don’t have to be perfect from the beginning, nor do you have to be “perfect” ever. As long as you love Allah and show that love to all Allah’s creation and keeping striving for the sake of Allah, the striving itself is beautiful to Allah. - Know that your relationship with Allah is between you and Allah alone, that only Allah is the One True Judge, and that no human being has a right to judge you in how you practice your faith. Also, no one has a right to force you to practice in a particular way based on what they want, as Allah says clearly in the Qur’an “There is no compulsion in religion”. - Know that Islam has two twin halves of the faith that are both essential: the inner and the outer. The inner is like the sap / lifeblood of the tree, while the outer is like the bark that protects the tree. The inner work is our striving to be the best possible people we can be, to improve our character & behavior, lessen our bad behaviors, bring out our positive Qualities, and serve Allah by using the unique gifts Allah has given us to serve all people and all of Allah’s creation. The outer is rituals and laws, such as 5 daily prayers / salat, fasting in Ramadan, paying zakat, ritual cleanliness, etc. - Qur’an : start with Qur’an, and stick with Qur’an our whole lives… this is true for all Muslims whether raised Muslim or converts, we must learn our own religion by going straight to the source, Qur’an, the words of Allah. Qur’an is a guide for how to live, and also offers healing in its “higher vibration” when we listen to it recited in the original Arabic. - Qur’an translations in English that are very good and I recommend them: Muhammad Asad translation The Message of the Qur’an (it’s also available PDF free online), and Tajwidi Qur’an translated by Sheikh Nuriddin Durkee. - It’s helpful to put on recitation of the chapter of Qur’an you are studying, while also studying the meaning in English. Qur’an recitation in Arabic has healing vibrations. Listening to recitation of Qur’an also helps with learning short chapters you can use in the 5 daily prayers (salat). It’s nice to learn this way because then we know how to recite a short chapter in Arabic while also understanding the meaning of what we are saying. Some of the reciters of Qur’an whose recitation styles I personally like (because the sound is soothing) are Sheikh Mishary Rashid al Afasy, and Omar Hisham Al Arabi. Indonesia and Malaysia also are known for their excellent female reciters of Qur’an. - Chapters of Qur’an that are especially excellent for knowing what is the core of Islam: al-Fatiha, Surah Ikhlas, Surah Mu’minun, Surah Rahman - Short Chapters of Qur’an that are easier to learn so you can use them in daily prayers (salat): al Fatiha, Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas, al Inshirah, al Kawthar, al Asr - the Names / Qualities of Allah are beautiful and offer guidance on how to develop into our highest selves by embodying the qualities of Allah, and the sound code of each Name also has a healing. As humans each of us carry all of the 99 Names / Qualities of Allah within our fitra, because when Allah created the first human being, breathed Allah’s own breath into clay to give it Ruh, the soul. We can work to grow each of these Qualities that lie within us like a seed waiting for water and sunlight. When we work with a specific Name of Allah, we will do meditation with that Name, and also look for ways to embody that Name/Quality in our daily life (for example ‘Adl / Justice, Wadud / Love, or Salaam / Peace). An excellent book on this is “99 Names of the One Love” by Dr. Fawzia al Rawi There are also great songs that can be used to learn and recite the 99 Names of Allah. As one Muslim woman to another, I would advise to learn your rights as a Muslim woman thoroughly, and insist they be respected. This is a reminder for myself as well - and for all us Muslims - to turn to Allah as the Guide, and put our trust in Allah, and know that Allah is Most Responsive and Loving and the Helper and will help us and guide us if we only ask sincerely, and keep our eyes, ears, & hearts open to the signs and help Allah will send. - Last but not least, know that Allah loves us, Allah loves you, Allah is closer to you than your jugular vein, and Allah is constantly taking care of you every second: each beat of your heart, the air breathed in & out of your lungs, the stardust that exists in the iron in your blood pumping through your body, the water we drink, the oceans filled with wonders and containing the same percentage of sodium as our blood, the soil that grows food to feed us, the forests that are the lungs of our planet and full of beauty and food and medicine for mind body & soul, the rising and setting of the sun each day, the kindness expressed to us by people in our lives… it is all manifestation of Allah’s great Love! SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, AllahuAkbar. Congratulations Alana for your reverted to Islam. I am Malaysian and reverted few years ago. The moment I said Syahadah, I felt so peaceful, and I hope you feel the same too... Please be istiqomah (consistent). If you feel so low in your life, remember, go back to Allah, and ask for forgiveness and HIs guides. Pray to him. Dua' is Muslims "senjata" or tools to communicate with our God. Good luck for your future.

Don't be a cheater from God the cheater.. from the book alone it is a fraud... taking the prophets in the Jewish book and replacing the Arabic version and claiming they are Muslims and replacing their God with the God of Mecca... then the prophet muhammad was a fraud.. all his testimony was fake.. from the cave of hira alone he had deceived many people.. the one who strangled him was Namus not Gabriel.. isra miraj journey is the biggest scam, He justifies his depraved treatment of women by selling what he says is the word in the name of Allah SWT's command. We Muslim prayed to the Almighty God by prostrating like Jesus did in Gethsemane. _And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt._ - Matthew 26:39. 2. We Muslim women cover our heads just like Mary the Mother of Jesus (peace be upon them both), following the words of God. _For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man._ - 1 Corinthian 11:6-10. 3. We Muslim follow Jesus' teachings more than the Christians by keeping to the Law just as Jesus preached and did himself. _Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled._ - Matthew 5:17-18. 5. A Muslim is Not a Muslim if he doesn't love Jesus Christ and his mother Mary (peace be upon them both). Whenever we Muslim say the name of Jesus Christ We Muslim always follow with "peace be upon him/her or both". We Muslim only wishes peace and blessings unto them. Christianity, on the other hand, only wants Jesus to go through pain and suffering in order to make up for their own sins. Christians often claim that because Christ died on the cross for their sins, their sins are forgiven by his blood. As the Bible puts it, it is a blasphemy and not at all logical.

@@Model3GenerativeANdroid I'm saying based on quran and hadith. In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran. There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future? Jesus predicted his death and resurrection, that happened. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God. Jesus said he will be next to his father in heaven.

to subscribers: please give moral support to Alana. give her wide chance to learn more about Islam without any pressure. don't compare us who were born Muslim with new 'saudara'. keep in mind, advise with truth and patience. To Alana: early nov, I feel really happy see this news from your friends' status. take your time to learn. Quran was not revealed overnight. it's step by step process. few people out there maybe being pushy & take it as spirit to improve. keep ask people around. never doubt your decision. it's all about yourself wanting 'jadi lebih baik'.

@@nuramalina8050 I'm saying based on quran and hadith. In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran. There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future? Jesus predicted his death and resurrection, that happened. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God. Jesus said he will be next to his father in heaven.

In Islam, Yeshua didnt died yet, Allah rise him to the third skies of Allah Kingdom, There are heaven and hell that prepared for human from Adam till last mankind in this world but no one there yet. That will based on the decision of Allah in Judgement Day. Yeshua still breathing right now because He one of the prophets that will proof the miracle of the Almighty One by fighting fake Messiah. And throw every christian to the ground because lying and manipulate the fact that He is a messenger of Allah not God neither son of God. God doesnt need to be residing the place such as heaven or hell. This place is build for mankind who were successful/failure in test at this world or timeline. From my experience, you need to strengthen your aqidah first and foremost esp your solat according to the sunnah.
