Have you noticed how this song blooms? Not only music but also progression of video. At the start you only get glimpse of their torso, hair etc and as song progresses, you get glimpse of their faces to only see them in full bloom near the end. I don't know official story behind it but i think it is about band maturing. You can say so much with visuals and music even if you don't understand the language.

This song is at the end of their newest CD. Almost half the songs on the CD have a lighter, more experimental feel than almost all of their old stuff. Even their harder stuff has a bit of blues and other genres mixed it. Blooming, IMO, is them taking all those lessons from other types of music and synthesizing them into their style and making the most Band-Maid song that Band-Maid has ever Band-Maided, and I love it. Currently at war with DICE for my favorite.

See them live, man, it will change your life. One of the few bands around that is actually better live.

My favorite new rock/metal band, haven’t found a bad set/song. Loving new sounds since late 1960. It takes a lot for me to get excited about new sounds, but the talent of this band is off the charts.your right about the star of the band usually great drummer or featured guitar, or great vocals. My favorite song of theirs is Moratorium but part of me says that this is objectively their best song. They've got a lot of songs of this quality for sure.

Because you enjoy the duels the live Don’t You Tell Me is one I think you would really enjoy. Although, because you like the Bass the opening of One and Only is just a shotgun blast and the little jazzy break of Secret Maiko Lips will catch you off guard.

I took way too long to to find this band. But after hearing them last year I own all the major albums on CD imported from Europe, and even have one of the singles. These girls are fucking awesome.

Been bingeing on your reactions. There was an all female band popular in 80s, Show-ya. First one. All the current female bands trace back to them. Hosted an all female band festival In Osaka till 1990. Show-ya reboot in 2010 or so. That's one reason for all the influences. That and Tower Records is huge in Japan. Old school multi floor record store.

I too have thought of Rise Against when listening to them. Sometimes there's certain progressions or even just a sound that makes you think of a band and I've definitely heard Rise Against at some point in their music. Glad I'm not the only one.

I would reccomend a band named "Hello Sleepwalkers" and their song "where does the monkey fall from" (yeah thats the rough translation). Their an alternative rock band. Curious to see if you like it.

Not sure if you will see this one, But the only Band-maid song I recommend for anyone listening to bandmaid for the first time is daydreaming. It is more like a ballad, very very good sound. One of my favorite guitar parts in any song, and definitely my favorite of the singer. Not as heavy as a lot of stuff, but super emotional sounding.
