Beautiful! We used to spend summers in old Naples, Fl before it become well known and we had the beach to ourselves…. We collected so many different shells and my favorite was the olive. To see that live in the water here is so interesting. I had no idea it was an olive snail. Thank you for the video and narration.

My dad used to camp on Marco Island when there was zero development. He told me the State of Florida had a chance to buy the entire island for two million dollars and passed -- the chance was lost to turn it into a state park. Two brothers with the last name Marco owned it, according to him. .

Thank you for that! I absolutely enjoyed watching what goes on below the water. Seeing the fish fight to shake the hook was like "Oh, oh! Help! They got me." Not funny, but funny bc we as people are the same when busted. Seriously, that was very neat to see. On my next fishing outing I will always remember this and try your techniques on the floaters. Thanks 👍🏽

Many years ago, vacation on Grand Cayman. Rented a villa on the North Shore, right on the beach. Coral reef about 200 yards out, water about 15 feet deep inside the reef. My brother-in-law and I fished and snorkeled. I could actually watch as fish interacted with his bait, bit, got hooked, fought, etc. Amazing to see that, especially in such crystal clear water. Also took a short walk to Cayman Kai, where I hooked the only bonefish in my life. Took off like a lightning bolt. Broke my line in seconds. My drag was set too tight. I couldnt believe the speed of that thing.

So a little tip. They can see the gear. They can see it all. Depending on how hungry they are depends if they hit it. Small tackle rewards more fish. Always. Also fluorocarbon. So important. Natural looking is best. I once had a friend from Fl. That could catch fish in a mud puddle. I miss fishing. I had a tricked jet ski that I fished off in Cape Canaveral so much fun!! Tight lines you beautiful people!!!

I love how you have floats on your droppers to keep them off the bottom. To me it looks like the fish either can not see your bait or are just not interested in what your serving to them. I would love to see what we call a snatcher hook on your rig. It's a hook with tinsel tied to the shaft, they flash and shimmer. You add bait to them like a normal hook, the added flash really makes the fish see it and investigate. You can tie your own there very simple to make.

That water is beautiful. Also, those lady fish are so pretty they're transparent looking..very cool to see this perspective. I live in Maine, and we don't have beautiful surf fish like this. Also, I've never heard of a circle hook, I don't fish all that often, but I've really been thinking about picking it up again like I used to. Thanks for this!

I think they're more reflective than anything and only appear transparent because they reflect the surrounding light back, which just blends them into the background.

The only gripe I have with this reel is the weight, but that goes with the size of the reel kzfaq.infoUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I brought this salmon fishing up in Oswego, NY. I coupled it with a Cabela's Whuppin Stick. I had no problem pulling in a 14lb salmon. I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.

Hard nose aka blue runner make the the best fish tacos of any fish. They also grill really well. Pretty sure that float spooked all the fish. I found the top down dropper rig or a grouper rig works fantastic for both surf and reef fishing. Once I changed to that rig my hookup rate skyrocketed. Especially in coral. The grouper rig is helpful for more timid fish like strawberry grouper or rock hind. Usually use 2 to 4 inches on the leg on coral max.

Howzit FISHGUM!! Aloha from Hawai'i. Love your fishcam videos--keep em coming please. I wish all our fish over here were as generous with biting the hooks as they are in your vids. I just started a channel recently with footage from my fishcam also. We have a harder time using it out here in the islands --though between rocky reef snags, a multitude of baitstealers, strong rip currents, hawaiian sea turtle hook ups, and the lingering threat of hungry tiger sharks -it is challenging. I've just begun to dive my fishcam and bait out and drop it in deeper water just because it's harder to cast the fishcam plus the heavier lead really far out. I've got some interesting footage for sure. Keep doing what you do and I'll be watching for sure. Aloha!

Had a friend who was a lake trout and salmon fisherman (from a boat) and he splurged and bought himself a camera. He went out one day, a d recorded his bait trolling through the water. It was amazing how many fish came up to investigate the bait. Folks often say "ain't no fish in this lake" when they don't catch any for the day, but truth be told, there are a ton of fish it seems according g to the video from my friend
