Speaking as a guy: I don't watch sports. I don't watch things (usually) about Rome. No, I've BEEN to Rome. What I DO watch is a LOT of WWII stuff. We do love our historical documentaries about war...somehow almost ALL of us do, whether it's about ancient Roman legions or the Spartans or 1940s Germany (plus, my family was LIVING in Germany during the war so it's part of our family history too).

My wife is never interested in what I watch or what I read, if it isn't some fantasy. That's all I do when she's not around, and I've learnt to occasionaly just ignore her attention seeking and mind my books. It's still so damn hard, like she can't stand the idea that my atention is not focused on her, whenever I read she keeps looking at me, and bothers me often with insignificant chitter chatter. How I'd love if she'd just pick up a book of her own and read beside me. I even offered to read aloud.

Personally as a woman here I love reading philosophy, psychology and litterateur, I like playing games and lifting weights at the gym. The guy I’ve been attracted to for the past 2 years, goes to the gym, reads philosophy and plays video games. We are very very alike in terms of fashion taste, interests etc.
