Today's video is so exciting because I take you along with me to the Ikea headquarters in Almhult, Sweden!! My mom has been working for IKEA for 17 years and she always told me about how crazy this place was!! So cool to see it! Next time she goes I wanna go with her lol She’s currently working on opening stores in Mexico! 🇲🇽

Ana .. The Store Manager , BN Manager and ISL Manager are all from the Store in Malaysia when I was working with IKEA Malaysia. The ISL Manager now was my peer back then in E&R and the BN Manager was my Deputy Store Manager , Anu whom I reported to then.

I have never been to one cause there are no Ikeas in Latin America and now I live in Italy and have to take a 2 hour train to get to the one in Milan

@@marianacaffaro I live in Italy too...😊...last month I actually went to IKEA, in Florence. It was huge ..😵😅😇. I had tons of fun just wondering around there and looking at new stuffs also learning more about many things there. 😅😊... You should go there to check it out.

She does a beautiful job of capturing products, I lived in Istanbul Turkey and I loved the huge ikea store, I felt like a little girl in a candy shop every time I visited! I wish we had one here in Pensacola Florida!😁 I may have to come stay there n check it out for a few days, I'd be in heaven👍✌

👋🏾 Alexandra, I am obsessed with IKEA, have been for the longest time, I live in Kenya so we don’t have an IKEA but, I have been able thrift through Facebook marketplace and about 80% of my furniture is IKEA, Its actually a dream of mine to one day visit the IKEA HQ in Sweden and get to see the history and peek new designs, Thank you for sharing your experience, I thoroughly enjoyed this video 👊🏽

This morning I was just scrolling through the home page here on KZfaq and YT recommended your channel and now I am OBSESSED! I love that you use a lot of furnitures from ikea (not just because I’m from Sweden😂) but so that everyone can buy the majority of the furnitures that you show in your videos without needing to find dupes! Love your channel!!

This is so cool! Ikea was what I bought to decorate my room when I got my first paycheque. I used to love their commercials, especially the one about feeling sad for the little creamer haha!

I can't remember which year the new IKEA store opened in Älmhult, but I do remember how awefully small the old one was before. Well, it was the first one, so every store after was more modern and functional. It was funny to see that I actually remembered how it looked from your museum pictures!

I'm originally from South Africa (NO IKEA) but since moving to the UK, IKEA has become my favourite place in the world. I just love visiting the store every few months to see their new displays and discovering new items and different ways to use them. I am definitely going to the IKEA museum!

I love IKEA !! I'm so glad that we have one in Las Vegas now. The textiles are my favorite . So much affordable things that look really good. My favorite part is going home with those Swedish cinnamon rolls 😊

I live in Mid West USA in a large Victorian style home in the country on a small acreage. I love MCM furniture, so seeing what Ikea offered back when I was a child was awesome. I want that whole room! Yes, I decorate with vintage MCM furniture in a Victorian style home. It works.

So fun to watch 😊 I'm from south of Sweden and the IKEA I used to visit as a child is just the one that now are a museum. Remembering that it was an adventure to go for the day to IKEA 😃 Now living in Gothenburg I have two IKEA close by, so it's like going to the store. Still love IKEA though 😉 Envy you a little for the cool experience with the HQ. P.S. I remember the heart pillow too 😍

I remember these heartpillows. :) I'm from Germany and think there are a lot of similarities between the Canadian or US or British Ikea for example and the Ikea here. There are sometimes decore pieces that differ and maybe furniture (I'm not sure), that I'd love to have here, too. For example there is a light fixture, in GB with a switch and a plug that you can hang anywhere for example as an ceiling lamp, if you're not having an installed one at your ceilings or want to make some DIY or something like that, but it isn't available in Germany. But other than that, which I learned through an youtube Video about Ikea hacks I don't know big differences between these Ikea stores. How cool that you're making an Ikea series! :) I can't wait for the next video!

We always went to Ikea in Älmhult when I was young since we lived close. Often when me or my sibblings needed something new to our rooms as we got older. 😊

I remember the heart-pillow for sure even I didn’t buy it ❤️ My favorite part is a souvenir shop😍🎁 And I live in Russia in small 2 bedroom condo with my parents and I am expecting a baby this fall. I love IKEA and I was keeping all catalogs for years🙈 I throw it away only when I moved to different city. Now I’m waiting for online version every year.

Hi Alexandra. I am originally from the Chicago suburbs but live in Liverpool, UK with my husband and two kids. I love going to Ikea to the point that every room in our house has at least 3 major items in them.

I live in Europe (Belgium) and something that has always struck me as very different when it comes to living spaces is how in the States and in Canada, closets are literally built inside of the walls and they are part of the 'naked' house that you buy. For us, walls are just walls - no magic closet appearances here :( - and built-in closet space is a very big upgrade (and usually quite expensive tbh) (the only living space where built-in storage space is not a *luxery* is in (small) kitchens) LOVED this tour !

I love IKEA, and that would be a dream come true to see the headquarters. I think the gift shop would have been one of my favorites. But eating there would have been equally fun. I love when my new catalog comes in the mail, or I can visit the IKEA store to buy things. I live in the northern part of the US in Idaho. Thanks for sharing, what a fun video.

Loved this video. I am a huge fan of IKEA and live very close to the first store built in the U.S. in Pennsylvania. I would definitely visit IKEA in Sweden. Sometimes, during the week, I stroll around the store for inspiration, as I am sewist and crafter.

I live in Argentina, we are in a major crisis (i mean worse than usual) so it's normal for young people to still live with their parents or lose their job and go back. I'm in the first category and what I'm doing is slowly buying furniture for when I get a good paying job to leave and not have to spend my entire life on that or live with my cats on a mattress on the floor. I'm about to buy a queen sized bed and mattress that has built-in bedside tables. Watching your channel makes me dream of a better future, I love all of your ideas.

Did you know that IKEA recently opened a new pop up store, it's more like a showroom but only for kitchen. So basically you can go to this store and get kitchen inspo and they have a lot of people who can help you sketch up you new kitchen just for you. It opened recently in stockholm and i think this is the only one for now. If you come to sweden again you should take a look!

Australia, when they planned the IKEA here in Canberra, they found that our needs revolved around board game storage, which they didn’t find as much of a thing in other capital cities
