I got the R, as I found the suspension more supple like the Aprilia. On the RS the Ohlins even adjusted was firmer. Better though if you ride 10 tenths, smooth roads or doing a track day. The Triumph ergonomics are spot on, comfortable and it just glides round corners with so little effort.

Lool the way you gave the short answer right at the beginning.. This did two things.. It allowed those who simply wanted a yes or no answer to get it straight away. (and not do the whole watch the whole video until the end to get the answer nonsense that most content creators do) And then for those of us who actually wanted a more in depth answer as to why we got to continue watching to get our nicely put together answer as to why it's yes or no. I don't know if this was meant to be a side joke. However I found it funny and great at the same time. Great stuff. Ps: I watched until the end.

I recently just traded my RS660 for a Yamaha XSR900 2020 (80's black) and I have no regrets doing it. The RS660 was amazing to ride, QS up and down, good electronics and it looks amazing but something just didn't do it for me. The XSR900 is so fun ride and as everyone knows the torque is bananas on it.

@@juanesteban8938 I know right? But I think the XSR900 GP is also a bit more sporty. I hope to test ride one soon. But my dealer still has not gotten his. I think it is sold out already in many parts of Germany. Same with the new CBR600RR. Honda only made like 100 or so for Germany, so they sold out months ago, before they even arrived at the dealer. I hope they offer a couple more next year.

Such a beautiful area to ride. Carol has one of those booked on a Triumph day ride out from the Hinckley factory. It's just out of interest to compare it to her stock 675 (I'm taking the 1200 Tiger out at the same time) The Aprilia looked beautiful as does the Triumph. Ultimately its the riding experience that will make you want to keep grabbing the keys to ride again.

I know what you mean about not falling in love with a bike. I traded in my 2021 MT07 for a 2023 ZX4RR. I just can't seem to get enough of the Ninja compared to the MT07. I liked the low end torque but after you get up in the RPM's the fun slows down. When I wind out the ZX4 I know that their is more to come. Torque is great for instant drag racing and popping wheelies for stunters, but I enjoy the sound and feel of my Ninja a lot more. Different people just want different bikes and it's a great world we live in that gives us a choice. Ride what brings you the most joy.

I thought of getting the RS, but here in the USA they still had the bulbs in their turn signals, and no LED's, and any Bike that's Yellow or Green is not for me. I chose a 2023 Ducati Monster SP. But as far as style, and performance, I would choose an RS, once they become updated here in the USA. , But not Yet, cause my Ducati is Amazing.

You talked about the Aprilia's reliability after 4.3k kilometers but to me it is not enough to talk about reliability. I'm looking to trade my CBR 650 R for a tuono 660 factory or eventually an Triumph RS 765 and it's something that freak me out. I did 24k kilometers in one year and I'm feeling safe about that with the Honda, even if I hit deep into the high end rpm when I want to push the bike to its power limit. Will I be able to do so with an Aprilia for over 40k kilometers if I want to keep the bike ? I still do not have the answer

I rarely hold on to my bikes for anything more than 3 years. I don’t do big mileage and I also have a few bikes so I do even less mileage on each. I can only talk of my experience with Aprilia…..and it was an excellent one. Good luck with your endeavours.

Maybe I misunderstood something and I have no clue about 765RS but I cannot really agree with the opinion that RS660's twin is strong in the low. Almost (not all) every hyper naked bike is killing it at the low rpm compared to RS660 which in fact needs to be pushed really high to overtake something like R7 that has less power. R7 having an engine from the MT-07 really pulls ahead from the stop light.

@@superduperkid3143 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/esigoNSltbTZlJ8.htmlsi=vt-rfm10XV4L0Fec It makes sense to me since RS660 being more of a genuine Sportsbike simply likes high rpm. I personally like it better over R7. Though, and this is my opinion, Naked bikes tend to have stronger pull from the bottom.

Hi Dave no this is not related to this vid but looking at the new insta x 4 have the DJI action 3 and wireless DJI mic after your recommendation . But going to the Pyrenees in a few weeks and just want to take one camera to put on the bike rather than my helmet. Would this be good to use for this trip ? and would you use it in the 8k 360 mode ? Keep up the great vid mate 👍
@WheelieGoodTV
@WheelieGoodTV 4 ай бұрын
Hi Grandpa, this would NOT be the camera for your trip. The bit rate and file size would be huge to leave on the bike as a running camera. You would need a massively quick computer and storage to process the footage from your trip. The X3 setup you have is amazing! If you wanted one less thing to worry about, ditch the wireless mic and buy the DJI lav mic with adapter. This will eliminate another battery charge process if you are doing a long trip.

Omg I thought I was literally the only person who noticed that gap you speak of on the tuono. It really bothers me and is a reason why I'm not a fan of the look (rs660, rsv4) are both the better looking versions Also the triumph has a bit of a gap too making the headlight look like a head of a certain animal. Lol I won't say as its been said many times. So the triumph for me got lumped in with the tuono because of this. Also this is a main reason I went with a bmw s1000r if you get a chance have take a look at the triumph, tuono and bmw s1000r from the side view and I'm sure you'll see bmw doesn't have that gap we speak of. On the bmw the headlight is mounted fairly close to the forks eliminating this gap.

When I was researching what bike to get, the RS660 seemed to have a weeping crankcase that was solved by torquing in the bolts and then magic marking them. The person demonstrating this had like 2/3rds of the bolts backing out. I ended up getting a Yamaha XSR900; all the bolts were uniformly torqued in plus they all had Loctite, but all Suzukis I've owned I've had to retorque all the chassis and engine bolts as they would often be wildly off. To be fair, the Suzuki manuals specify the chassis bolt torquing is a must.
