Honestly the giratina offer was good I mean they have to make profit too but yeah honestly I think it’s always best to sell online or to an individual collector 👍🏽

You somewhat mentioned this at the end of the video, but a lot of people won't wathc the whole thing, so: Some of these cards, if you were to sell them on ebay, you might make 50% more, sure, however, you have to spend the time to find the buyer, ship it, deal with all of that, etc. Even though you feel the offer isn't fair, you're choosing to spend time you could spend on making money rather than spending the money/energy to find a buyer.

If you sell on eBay and/or tcgplayer, it's about 17-26% in fees as well. So it sounds like they were doing about 50-60% for store and cash of those cards. Makes sense more or less. Pretty much the same as other LCS and vendors would do too. But yes, sell on eBay instead haha

can you trade in 3 PSA 9 slabs 1 of charizard, 1 of pikachu and 1 random pokemon that isnt really cared for or isnt in demand. and 3 PSA 10's with the same setting and go back and see what they are trying to sell it at, compared to what they offered you?

I sold 5 One Piece Alt psa 10s and they gave me 90% of last sold. Mine and their numbers were VERY close. Idk why nothers are struggling with this

The only card I think wasn't a terrible offer was the Giratina V honestly.. if it averages online $450 lets say and they offered you $324 cash that wasn't too bad. That's still a little over 70% so I will 1000% disagree that the Giratina V was a bad offer 🤔 but I do think it's going to come down to the CARD itself and MOST cards aren't going to be worth trading or selling for cash at GameStop at least. It's going to be those 10 or so cards on the market that are just spiking up and up that they'll maybe offer something worthwhile in the end.

The offers weren't tooo bad (roaring moon was pretty bad), watching a lot of vendor povs and they offer around 65-75% for cards, so I'd say those offers were around there or maybe even more

They should've offered you at least $30 cash and/or $40 credit for Roaring Moon ex imo.. I'm okay with half if it's cash or upwards of 70-80% in credit.

I bet if you tried to sell your graded Moonbreon, they'd have to sell you the whole store instead.🤣

Honest question: Would you have STILL traded them in if their system wasn't down or would you have said "Meh sorry not interested anymore" still informative either way 👍 Also, yikes those offers they gave were ridiculously low. I would've passed either way haha. This is a side thought and is no reflection on your experience or video but, most times when toys, cards, shoes etc. are traded into a shop if they give you decent value I see others complaining about it still which is mind blowing. I'm like "you do realize you are basically asking/forcing them to buy from you" Some people want the exact value as you'd get if you just randomly tried to sell it on eBay or FB Marketplace. Not sure if you've ever seen experiences like that online or in person, but it still baffles me that some will get upset when they only give 50-60% of the card, toys, shoes etc. value. YOU ARE LITERALLY ASKING THEM HEY BUY MY STUFF NOW and they have to make money too. Of course they aren't going to give you what you totally want. Some don't get that even when LGS' or shops are fair.. but like I said GameStop definitely wasn't fair in this case man! OUCH. ☠

I'd say PSA is the real scam. $25 just to grade a single card? I shouldn't have to be selling the card for $30 just to break even. The main reason I've never looked into selling my rarer cards that i don't really care about (like it is a pokemon i don't care much for or i don't love the art), is because of the insane risk of just getting them rated. I would be willing to pay even $5 per card, but $25, even the $15 for bulk orders is too much. And then if my card is worth more, i have to pay them more or they won't send the card back? The card being higher value doesn't change the work it took to authenticate it. But they could charge me hundreds of dollars to hold hostage my card if they think it is valuable enough? I can't believe people actually give those con artists money.
