KPOP trainee experience, Living a day in the life of a KPOP trainee, living like a KPOP trainee for a day, vlog, kpop idol life (ft. Holly Ellison from The Voice UK & Tabasco)
Sorry for the long wait!! I decided to follow a typical kpop idol/ trainees schedule and it was tough!!! I did dancing, singing and korean lessons in preparation for a singing and dancing video of Kiss and Makeup by Dua Lipa and Blackpink. This video took AGESSSS to plan, film and edit (i actually learned how to create animations just for this video haha) but I hope you enjoy! tbh if someone likes dancing and singing (and well they are trainees so they like doing it) it's not that bad, however they could of end the day at like 9-10pm not 1am, cause that's too late but i think all koreans live like this: 4-7 hours of sleep a day (i've been living like this since forever every school year - 10 months out of 12 so😂)

@@mirific5211 I think you don’t know much. Trainees do it everyday all the time. They have a hard schedule. Most of the kpop idols who did military training said that it was easier than kpop training

Sorry , but the amount of people romanticising idol and trainee life in the comments, is, disturbing, to say the least. It sounds fun cause youre young and watching idol videos all day. Ask anyone who works more than 40 hrs a week. Idol and trainee life is basically a slave contract with little to no pay. it's actually a terrible career choice. Unless you make it big, you have essentially wasted your entire youth after a job that won't even guarantee enough money to get by for a month. There's a reason so many idols quit. Even after getting a decent following. And don't even get me started on abuse and getting taken advantage of in the entertainment industry.

This is why we should appreciate all the kpop groups and not compare them with each other..I was a SM tranee for a year ( due to some serious issues i had to quit though )..It was extremely hard..i almost died that also i was trained for just one year..I can't even imagine how the idols keep up with it for three to ten years..

I'm so proud and amazed by it! I'm a dancer/singer right now (For a small dance team, we do little tours in about 4 states and perform at highchools, hospitals, rehab centers etc.) And I'm currently learning Korean in hopes to be able to sing more diverse songs and music. I love watching videos like this because it gives me motivation!

I was in basketball and we literally practice from the end of school till like 6pm or even 7pm if we don’t do our best and our coach didn’t let us have have any breaks just a sip of water and that’s it untill I severely almost damaged my hip and I left moving away cause personal thing so yess doing the dancing like that then have vocals lessons and etc I don’t know how kpop idols can do it must be lots of discipline and dedication

I remember when I did dance and color guard/marching band and dance, rehearsal varied on days and times. If I had to recall the longest rehearsal my teammates and I ever rehearsed for, just for competition and other events; 9am-9pm on the weekend (starting Fridays 18hrs)+Wednesday nights 4:30-9pm (5hrs 15mins). But other than that, I can definitely relate to all of the grueling months,weeks, days, nights and hours, not to mention learning how to do our hair and makeup a certain way based on show theme. It's really tiring but at the end of the day, but if you're really passionate about it than it feels great.

I have been really impressed with the non-dance cover videos that you have been putting out recently! Keep it up! I don't know if I would be able to handle a Kpop trainee/idol schedule for very long lol. Also, Holly is really pretty and nice! @@m20047 They eventually get used to it, maybe the first month or so is difficult, but after doing it so much, they tend to get used to it. I personally wouldn't mind this schedule, but I also get up at 3:15am Central Time for work, so 6 or 7am is sleeping in for me. 🤣

Lucky to you, cause I really wanna be an idol I know it wont be that easy being a trainee. But if you really wanna achieve what you wanna achieve, you will work hard to get it. I hope when I audition i hope i have a chance and also i hope my family would allow me to being an idol. Cause i think that's the only way to achieve my dreams. *sighs* :

haha this is amazing! Nutella girl always surprise us :) Not only tight schedule and being away from family and friends are a problem, also doing all that with worries and insecurity about the future is what makes it even harder, requiring too much discipline and motivation imo. You made the right decision of not becoming an idol. Ty for staying a ytburer and teaching us all about this. I really wanted to become an idol and even thought if auditioning but now that I see what it's like I don't think I could manage. I heard a lot of stuff about hard it is and everything but things are different from when you hear them or see them. It's like trying to survive in the wild!

It reminds me about the time when we prepared musical in school so for 4 months we were in school from 9am to 11pm and then do homework till 2am. I really liked it. I would love to be so productive again. 💜
