I trained like a PRO GAMER for 48 Hours with McLaren esports! F1 Esports is the official tournament for the EA Sports F1 games! With huge tournament prizes for the best sim racers in the world! I joined McLaren Formula 1, the team with amazing drivers such as Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Bianca Bustamante.... who also have a virtual racing team for sim racing esports know as Mclaren Shadow used for F! sim racing!
I trained with the McLaren Shadow team, along side the current esports f1 World Champion Lukas Blakeley, Wilson Hughes and Dani Moreno. To see just how hard it is to be a top 1% gamer in the world! Learning how to get faster in F1 2023 game, with sim racing tips and tricks to become a better driver! Explored the Mclaren racing simulators, equipped with PlaySeat, Alienware and Logitech G steering wheels!
The McLaren HQ tour was incredible, with some of the most iconic McLaren racing cars available to see at the McLaren MTC! Thank you for the invite and the behind the scenes look, to make this video possible.

Wow, as a sim racing enthusiast, this video gives quite an insight into the F1 Esports world, its not all about the driver its about the teamwork (quite surprised to see 9 people in 1 team and that telemetry was scary) Also races are a different ballgame altogether, time trial, after doing races seems like another race mode, consistency is more important in long format rather than doing that one perfect lap PS : Sucks when you see yourself 4 seconds behind the professional esports driver in the time trial :/

I just got to the physical fitness section and when the driver got on to the rowing machine I noticed that his form was wrong (I do rowing as my pe credit at school). They need to lean back further and pull the handle bar to just below their pecs.

Wow. Incredible experience. I wish to play with similar racing but I couldn’t afford 1. I tried to play once at the esports gaming place and I love it. I went back home and play with my controller and I hate it now. Can you buy me a set of sim racing wheel, pedal and kits?

except unlike esports csgo or lol no one aculy watches esports sim racing events. thares like 3 people that actually watch sim esports the rest of the viewers are view bots. eventually company's will realize that the profits will never be like other esports cus nobody wants to watch the sim version of a real race when they can just watch the real race or thay can just watch thare favorite streamer do the esports event.

Way cool! Why do the simulators have that awkward sitting position?! I know why real cars are like that, but aerodynamics and car design are not a factor in a simulator. Seems a bit odd

It's actually quite comfortable to drive like that. Gives you good control over the pedals and also makes it easier to be precise with the wheel

Imagine spending all that money on a e sports team who work upto 7 days a week 8hrs a day for that crap game! I would get it for a game thats even remotely close to realism. This is closer to need for speed than a proper sim game. 😂 Seems like a giant waste of resourses. Should have these guys on proper sim games like I racing or something. Its like football players training on fifa for real life.😂

Although this is about McLaren, I find it very disappointing that they're using an incorrect steering wheel and an outboard camera. This has nothing to do with SimRacing or real-life racing! I'm sorry, but that's how I see it, and it's just terrible that a McLaren eSports team would make such a presentation with such cheap simulator equipment. Please don't misunderstand me, but this is once again offering and showcasing nonsense to the next generation. It has NOTHING to do with F1.

Incorrect steering wheel? They are sponsored by logitech who have yet to release any new rims. Apparently they are working on it (too little too late imo) , and as for racing in Tcam, well thats just the fastest way to get around the track. Until they get told they HAVE to run in cockpit mode, they wont.

@@robertcarr4172 in f1 esports its mandatory to use fanatec dd1 wheelbase with the f1 esports rim and fanatec v2 pedals, so i doubt they are actually using these wheels for the practise
