Those things make it impossible to swim fast for her, she can't streamline

Kinsey has a pair of natural floatation devices to keep her buoyant, but it also hinders her speed by making her less aerodynamic... 🏊‍♀ Since he shaves his back, is it also safe to assume that he's sporting a full Brazilian downstairs? 🤔

TLDR: 'gift from God to swim fast' has ruined so many childhoods of young swimmers I know. It actually makes me sad that so many swimmers think they have this 'gift from God to swim fast'. Bro idk if your almighty God wants your entire life purpose to be going through chlorine water quickly. Also as a swimmer myself it's so sad to see this among swimmers who don't make it to the top like Andrew. Their entire family revolves around them and their swimming career (moving across country to swim for x club etc) and they keep spending more time and money on their kid because 'God gave them the gift to swim fast'. You can also image the poor kid who thinks that they purely exist to swim - and can't qualify for the Olympics because of the genetic lottery. I hate this way of thinking - unless I'm not understanding something?

This especially applies to women in the sport since some women mature extremely early and post these insane age-group times and then never improve after the age of 14.

I'm so glad that Michael says that he'd rather not achieve and have an exciting life! Swimming needs more of this sentiment.
