I think they should use Powdered Snow as a basis for adding Quicksand to the game. This should exist now.

First of all, I have no idea how one even begins to do anything with command blocks. So props to you. Second of all. It seems like it wouldn't be that bad to add into the actual game. It could be sort of like powered snow. Third of all. I love you videos so keep it up!

Nice video! When I first saw the falling block trick (Void House) I made a very primitive version of this, I just put cobwebs in the same block as a falling block. Interesting to see the way you made it deadly though.

There is already quicksand with snow, This is next level of traps, just imagine walking on the desert and you fall on quicksand because someone put a trap there

This quicksand is very cool and it is a great video overall! One thing though, instead of making an area affect cloud of slow falling at the top, would it be better to make one of levitation 250-254? These levels make a more customizable type of slow falling and it can make you fall slower than what slow falling offers. You could also put a powdered snow at the bottom and retexture the hearts and the overlay to make a more quick-sand-themed way of dying.

the slowness glitch actually kinda makes since, due to if you move around in quicksand alot you sink more

Hey, love your videos, I'm yet to watch this one but i do have an idea on how you could make quicksand. as the sand you have a falling block entity with a sand texture and I also found out that high levels of levitation makes you hover meaning you cant jump. to trigger it have a command block running a command block on repeat that gives you the levitation effect for 1 second when 0 blocks away from the falling block entity (meaning your in it). Keep up the great work and I'm going to enjoy this amazing video.

Any levitation value above 127 will pull you down. If you set it high enough it will pull you down slower than normal, with the highest being 255 that just doesn't move you up or down.

I remember making quicksand on mcpe years ago where you put falling sand ontop of a cobweb ontop of a shulker. The shulker will stop the sand from breaking as it lifts it up. Doesn't look realistic but it works.
