It was never about the game, it's about who i played with and how i spend my time. If the game is ruined over bad news, then I feel bad for how you've surrounded yourself in the hobby. We all need to step back from the situation, in my opinion, if you only played because the game had potential, then what are you really logging on for?

16:00 Wasn't prepared to hear a QoL update for shaders. Being able to see how the shade in more detail, in game, is going to definitely help people out.

This is exactly the type of stuff a game director of a live game like Destiny needs to be doing. Hell, the game director of a single player game has been the shining example of communication with Doom Eternal and the livestreams Hugo Martin did for months after release. Whether or not this leads to anything doesn't really matter to me, Blackburn just being out there feels good to see.

I mean that’s normal. You cannot expect to be installed as a new game director for a video game and like every aspect of the game that was developed before you were hired, unless you were dishonest or the game was perfect.

Datto, you put so much effort into these kind of vids and they are fantastic. The production of the overlay and the different rounds, i just want you to know that it doesn't go unnoticed and it is appreciated. This was really fun to watch. I would love to see a series of Destiny trivia. Shaders was great but it could be expanded to anything in the game, weapons, armor ornaments, structures/architecture on maps, the sky's the limit for this concept. Thank you again for the great content.

Damn, this just hurts. I first watched this and felt so amazing, destiny was turning a corner from a dark time, and getting to the end of the tunnel. More content from Joe, and just this lighthearted jovial feeling. There was a lot of state of the game conflict, and this seemed to be marking the end of the recession when things would get better. Now its so much worse and everything is just tainted with controversy and anger. It feels like radiation sickness, you start to get better, think things are fine, and then it comes back in for the kill. Thank you datto, this was a fun and wonderful video.

Joe didnt have a choice or didnt know, it was said that no one except the "Higher Ups" knew until it was happening, not even team leaders and we have never actually seen or heard a "Higher Up", so anyone that has ever been on camera or stream etc isnt at fault. its the people behind the curtain.

With him being the actual game director of the game, there's probably some amount of "Haha, he's making the game, but cannot even get every shader name right omegalul" going around in the community. But seeing that the people behind this game are just regular people probably is the wake up call that some people need (if there's any hope for those)

I would absolutely love for Datto to start bringing more Destiny creators in the Shader Show. Maybe have 3 rotating minigames per match, culminating in the fashion show game as the finale. Have different D2 content creators play; it would be the next vault-cleaning series. Also maybe make it so that players are told the special shader for the minigame ahead of time so that they can come in with something? Although seeing people desperately trying to cobble something together in 10 minutes is pretty funny.

Really great show, next time a mode "Which one is dominant?" would be cool. So you show a shaders icon and the players have to guess what the most prominent colour is when applied.

That one is a bit harder cause the dominant color might be different between armor and fabric. Happens a lot between my Titan and Warlock.

I noticed that with the shader rotating game, you can see that the light on the shaders actually isnt symmetrical, and is always on the right side and lower

TRUE, i have no idea why i have such a good memory when it comes to shaders but when he pulled out silver tactical on the funnelweb and i got it because of the green (that i hate) and the fact that it was from s10 i felt like such a nerd, even when i didn't remember their names i remembered the season
