I think people often forget that if you wake up early you don’t magically get some more hours in your day. To be rested you also need to go to bed earlier than otherwise, as getting enough sleep is probably the number 1 thing you can do for your health and wellbeing. So I guess it just depends if you prefer being awake earlier in the day or not. I do think the whole waking up super early thing is over-glamorized 🤷‍♀️

I guess the difference would be the productuvity you have in those ealier hours . Because you won't wake up earlier only for see your phone or things like that , maybe people preffer waking up earlier because of that , but of course it depends on how productive you are and at what time .

so true! but I feel like a lot of people, myself included, stop working at around 8 or 9 p.m. anyway and then lounge around until 1. If I instead went to bed and woke up early those hours I spent doing nothing would be much better spent in the morning. it all depends on how people utilize their time!

omfg it’s not a competent government it’s COMPETENT PEOPLE. the US is just full of selfish narcissists who don’t care that people die as long as they get to go to a bar with their friends or have a house party for the super bowl or spend spring break in Florida. don’t blame the government. if people in the us actually gave half a fûck about each other they would be inside, social distancing, being safe and wearing masks. take responsibility for yourself man. governments can’t wipe your àss for you.

Not gonna lie, these kind of videos are not even close to what I would chose to watch (I don't even workout) but my sister introduced me to them and i'm liking them quite a bit. I've been waking up at 4:30 for work since like june 2020 ish, and I wake up thinking my alarm is about to go off too. To be honest tho, I really like being up so early now. It takes time to like it but its quite a lovely feeling after you get into the rhythm and you've done it for a bit.

Good for you waking up that early and trying something new. I've been waking up at 1 am for the gym since June because I use public transportation and it's what works for my work schedule. I haven't seen anyone mention this in the comments yet, but that feeling you're talking about when being "hit by a bus" is called fatigue. I used to work for an airline and we started work at 4.20 in the morning, this meant waking up to get fully ready for the day at 3am. And something that I always had to remind myself was that by 3 in the afternoon I'd already been awake for 12 hours. Early morning starts are fantastic, but fatigue can be a side effect of that and that doesn't bode too well on the human body, people also have to be mindful of chronic fatigue as well

Loved the video! I have been working on putting together my own routine for each day as well since I am an expecting first time mom and will be popping any day now! I think that early morning routines are personally the best for me. I naturally just like to be awake earlier, but I definitely think the amount of sleep you get is really important. Everyone has bad nights sometimes, but getting up early and not getting a full nights sleep really does counteract the whole point of waking up early to have a productive routine. Because like you said in your video you just crash so early in the afternoon that you can't function as well and everything kind of slows down. I think the best thing to do is if you sticking to a routine and you feel yourself just so dramatically tired mid day, you should take a short power nap and then continue. Resting when you truly need to is better then pushing through it and not getting much done because you're so tired that you can't do things as quickly or really focus.
