Hey you guys! So ya'll know whenever I try something new on my hair, I have to come on here and show you. I tried the TGIN leave in conditioner paired with their Curl Bomb gel. I didn't know what to expect with this curl combo, so watch to see how my hair reacted and if I liked it or not.

I love the green tea leave in. It smells so good to me. I think I've only tried that and the mask from this line. Your hair came out cute, super defined, and we all know the shrinkage is real, so I kinda wish the gel had more of a hold and more elongating.

I've tried the gel. It was the same with me. I had to use a lot in my hair but the results came out pretty good. It flaked a bit on me too

I’m glad I’m not the only one that aunt Jackie’s flaxseed gel doesn’t work on, I have to pair it with a specific curling cream for it to work and I don’t wanna use the same combo every wash day 🤷🏽‍♀️

Uncle Funky's Daughter has a great gel for my 4b/c hair. It reminds me of the Camille Rose, but not flaky (until after like 4 or 5 days) and with instant definition.

Hair buttercream and leave in are 💯 but the gel literally had NO HOLD when I tried it 👏🏾 maybe I should of added a FEW pumps and did the shingling method like you did.

Its really hard to fix heat damage. Like...not even worth the money for products and time spend DC'ing. You might be better to gradually cut damage out.

First stop using heat, deep conditioning (even overnight dc), use leave ins and products that work for you. Also trim yours ends also

Yeah. Finger coils would give me extremely tight curls and soooo much shrinkage. With coils you twirl your hair around your finger over and over from root til u reach the end. I dont like doing them because its a pain to wash and detangle.

I’ve never tried their gel but I used to love the leave in. I stopped using it because I found other things I liked too. I do love their shampoo, rinse out and DC. Some of the best products I have ever used.

Yes. The shampoo and deep conditioner used to be a fav. I had the leave in & gel sitting around for a while so I said let me at least see if I liked it ❤️
