🙌🏾Yes!!!! My thumb and pointer are short. Middle and ring finger are coffin and my pinky stay stiletto. My husband asked me just yesterday why my nails be different. After I explained the method to my madness, he was stunned for a few minutes. He finally said he loves the way I think and that he appreciated my ingenuity. 😂

This is super helpful. Thank you! I want to try this on my oldest daughters hair. ❤ Also, don’t be fooled by the trap of “nail hardeners”, sometimes they can make your nails even more brittle. 😢 For me, using dip powder with a nail tip extension works the best to make “my nails” very strong. I find it very hard to have strong nails if you’re doing hair often and getting your nails wet a lot. 💅🏽 Beautiful work by the way! 👏🏾

hey pana i have a question. when you are doing your feed-in i know you go from one side to the other and you don't stop in the middle. when you do that and you are about to grab the middle piece to continue the braiding, do you like split some of the hair you grabbed and put it into the braid that you are about to grab so it wont be to thick or do you just keep all the hair in that one piece?

When you do your stitches, do you try and line them up with the stitches next to them? I’m white but grew up in a predominantly black area and used to LOVE braiding. I wish I had someone to practice on more often

Try buying a manniquen head for practice. It can be helpful for when your friends want to get their hair braided, but can't pay or if you wanna show off you skills when you get better

It did bc it was my first time. 30 min is not much and like anything the more comfortable you get with something the quicker it is. It’s helpful if you don’t want the hassle of stitching with a comb or getting your nails done.
