instead of displaying lines between the recognised ball positions, you can display a oversampled quadratic line. It would be more visually pleasing. Probably you have already some code to split the trajectory into sections that follow a parabolic shapes, so will be easy

Is still a bit slow even with the GPU but actually this might be a good one for analyzing a badminton or a tennis match. Somehow analyzing a table tennis game is not too thrilling.
