I tried an ECLIPSE ONLY Rend Run, and it Went EXACTLY How You Think

Continuing with the eclipse only moon runs, dipping into the first paid moon: Rend!
This planet is known for nutcrackers, jesters, and low outdoor visibility. Because of the lower visibility the outdoor is often perceived as more dangerous than some of the other planets, especially since giants can still see just fine.
However, Rend only has an outdoor power level of 6, and with how big the outdoor is and how far apart the different entrances are, eclipsed Rend SHOULD be manageable so long as you know the different ways to access the different entrances.
In this video, I learn how to consistently navigate to and from the Fire Exit on Rend, fight a few nutcrackers, encounter a few jesters, and do what I can in order to survive on this dangerous moon.
I DID get a new pop filter starting with this recording and despite having done some audio tests prior to recording, I must have talked at a different audio level while playing than I did while testing so my voice does cut out quite a bit here when I'm speaking at a lower volume. I'm also still having some audio issues with my PC and it's not the new mic, it's probably my USB slots or some other hardware issue now. It's not as bad with my new mic, but it might be why my volume fluctuates in volume throughout this video. I at least recorded to separate audio tracks this time and was able to edit my voice without touching the game audio, but I can't do anything about segments that just didn't pick up my voice at all.
I'm not sure what I can do about the USB slots malfunctioning and it seems like my mic will still turn off every now and again, but at the very least it's not affecting the game audio, I've changed my OBS mic settings to fully pick up on what I'm saying at my more natural decibel level and I'm hoping the levels are better in my next video. It's a learning process and dealing with hardware issues isn't really my strong suit so I will be asking for your patience as I figure all this out, especially since it's in my best interest to figure it out sooner rather than later. I'm just glad it's happening mostly during my solo runs rather than my collab ones.
I also plan on adding more games to my content arsenal, so if you made it this far let me know what games you want to see next! I don't want the new games to interfere with my Lethal Company upload rate just yet, so I'll be shooting for double uploads instead of committing a whole day to new games until they start to stick. So here's to doubling down on my current upload schedule instead of pulling away from it, lol.

@@sheffaustin left corner of the railing(the one next to the entrance to the ship), jump, run. When you get to the end of the mountain, there are two trees. You go between them and carefully get down. You’re in the fire exit at around 8:30 For the main entrance - you jump from the ship(where’s that ladder thing) while you’re landing a bit before that tree that clips through that place and just run straight. You’re in the main entrance by 8:14-8:22. Also the rend is the best planet according to the amount of loot per map size + easy access to the fire exit Maybe you should consider playing it a bit more?)

Didn’t even know there was that specific of directions to it, I just sort of finagle my way down the hill without specific positioning, I just slide down until the fog clears and I see the fire exit, and on the return trip I tend to hug the mountains opposite to the hill next to the ship and just follow it until I reach said hill to get back

@@wolfen7918 the best way ive learned to explain to someone how to get to the main entrance quickly is to look left of the lights, and follow the tree line all the way down till you see the dark shadow, and right up ahead you should see the main entrance light

Outside on Rend seems like you basically just have to go by memory, like beyond a certain point you cannot see like anything let alone without a flashlight. The Fog is so annoying, getting spotted by a giant and you can't even see it is rude as hell. Imagine if you could have foggy weather like march can, would be insane.

man your videos are so easy to just put on and watch and have a good and easy time watching. youre not boring, but youre also not trying so hard to be interesting that you end up obnoxious. idk how new you are to making content but youre doing great!! also i read the desc and i hope the audio issues get sorted out, its sounds like a pain to figure out how to fix it. id tell you a game id like to see you play but none come to mind yet

Honestly a suggestion for the audio thing might be just recording the audio through a different source even if it means using a laptop or a phone to record audio in the meantime until you get it fixed. I still enjoyed the vid tho since ur a chill dude nd just pretty skilled at the game in general

A good way to practice navigating the snowy moons is to turn on a mod that gets rid of the blizzard effect and just practice basic routes back and fourth. That's how I learned how to get back from Rend's fire exit and the shortcut on Dine.

Been binging your videos lately, they're entertaining! Happy to see you're doing good on the platform! Hope you get to sort out the microphone and hardware problems too! It can sometimes be a pain And as for the game arsenal I don't know what would you be exactly into, but I can see learning creatures AI, maps and routes seems fun so maybe you'd like to try Rain World? It can last for a very long while, you can play with friends (dlc mostly), funny AI moments, exploration, survival There's even a food "quota" each cycle haha, if you could say that :3, lovely game Great run btw lol, eclipse rend seems like maximized suffering with outdoors spawns, wish you luck on the next challenge and a good day!

You might want to check your mic filters because your voice was cutting out at some points. I had that happpen to me when I was using mine without a shock mount, so the vibration from impacts on the table would peak the volume and the compressor would cut everything out. That might also happen if you have a fan blowing wind on the mic

Pick up Open Broadcasting Software, DaVinci Resolve, and Audacity (or find a better audio software because of privacy issues). Those are what I use to record and edit my videos.

theres a faster route to fire, if you line yourself up with the left corner railing of the ship and run straight you can take the drop instead of running all the way around.

Man the blizzard visibility and big map makes Rend seem really difficult to navigate. I know Titan is more dangerous overall, but the convenience of the Titan entrances literally being right outside the ship really is such a luxury for a premium moon haha Regretfully the mic issues are pretty present here, always sucks when you dedicate a long recording session like that and only find out afterwards that the audio's messed up...I'm sure you'll figure out the threshold for voice attack and stuff, especially since you got a new mic! Just needs some more trial and error As for other games - ofc something you're interested in, but I suppose it helps if it's popular/new. I assume it should be solo since it already sounds difficult to align schedules with other folks? You used to play Melee right? Might be nice to balance a game that requires more strategy/brainpower with something that's more mechanically reliant, just so you don't have to drain from the same energy bar for both games. Idk if fighting games would let you make much commentary due to having to focus, but I guess it's also good to consider if you want to mix up your audience versus find something adjacent to Lethal Company that most of your existing audience might like That said, I did hear from another youtuber that diversifying games on your channel actually makes the algorithm recommend you less compared to if you just stuck to a single game, but I don't know how true that is and it'd be a good idea to research that a bit more

yeah I finally got a new mic and a pop filter and it sounded fine in my test audio, but in practice I must have talked at a lower volume and I’m a bit sad that the audio turned out this way 🥲 especially since this was a fun run with a lot going on Been doing some longer test audio runs since this recording so I can have that resolved for future uploads, so I’m hoping to dial that in sooner rather than later 🙏

Your content is amazing, you're light commentary with your cool voice and underline theme of learning a game though a challenge,with active gameplay in the background is so cool!(i dont really like the fact that so many people put a enfasys on your voice and pls do not put that as your SOLE identity,you are not just that!),and even in the somewhat consistent audio issues it was still entertaining!(which is super rare in this website) As for the games in YOUR style...man,sons of the forest would be kinda based,other Zeekers games would be even more based,games like metroid prime,doom 3,og resident evil's and old games with chill/lonely vibes would fit good,plus no need for a EPIC GAMING pc to do content but lowkey...you'd be a GOATED commentater on more slow-paced indie horror games,like Iron Lung vibes... If you want to know how to deal with a ghost girl/doll just dont look at her and she will just be behind you also dont run backwards into her. And Im not sure whats wrong with your mic but you just got completly cut off every once in a while. Anyways great video. Cant wait for the dine only run!

Someone found a way to statistically determine the best moon and it’s Rend…and it’s not even close. Like it blows Titan and Dine out of the water. While titan has more loot, the inside of Titan is twice as big. You will find more loot in a shorter amount of time at Rend

@@kristyna9324probably not because Titan can also spawn WAY more monsters inside than Rend can. Rend is also the only map in the game that can never spawn turrets while Titan can have over 30 if you are really unlucky.

@@Collinscody01 well yeah, but it's also less likely to be a mansion and has less chance of spawning coilhead, jester, and nutcracker. has both exits right next to the ship so you actually have time to get way more inventories into the ship solo. it just kinda feels better idk. but 18 indoor sucks yea, though i think it kinda pays off

Things can spawn at any time, so monsters won't wait till later to spawn.

It makes it night time all day and on rend it spawns at least 3 indoor and 3 outdoor enemies at the beginning (dine is 4)
