Reminds me of pokemin crystal clear.. was open world too.. could chose to start in kanto or johto.. can also go back and re-do gyms and pick the difficulty level for them to make grinding exp much faster

To be fair normal type pokemon would be useful, they r not super effective against any type and yet they’re weak to many other typings logically speaking normal is actually useful in this with reverse match ups
