@@TheColourfulSidetwitch I think it is really up to what inspires you as a player. This pack is fun for storytelling and has useful items and great cas . I haven’t gone into much gameplay yet, so I’ll let you know soon

I’d love to see Hampton Falls: The Next Generation with the new high school pack!! The Hampton falls let’s play is probably my favorite let’s play of all time and I feel like the high school pack would’ve been sooo useful for storytelling back then 👀🤩😁

Basement windows actually do matter. In order to legally build a bedroom in the basement, you need egress windows, that are large enough for someone to escape through during a fire.

in response to 12:36 I had a plastic beaded curtain by my doorway too as a teen. It used to get tangled up a lot, so I tied it back. I had a wind chime at the top, so my chihuahua would touch the beaded curtain at the bottom to ring the chimes and let me know she wanted to come inside.

Most outdoor rugs are a plasticky material that doesn’t absorb water and is really easy to clean

This reminds me so much of my room as a teenager, similar cluttered style, colors and my bedroom was even a basement. That bed swatch with the sun on it is so similar to the bedspread print I had.

So I did ask him this morning and he apparently asked the sims directly. So I could’ve just done this. Thanks for bringing this up tho, it is important to do 🙏🏻

Actually for basement apartments they usually have to add large accessable windows as per the fire code you need two exits not next to each other in case of fire.

I think maybe even if you didn't know who built it in the beginging a note in the video below would be kind. Or some kind of annotation linking them would be the right thing to do. Since they worked on the build originally credit should be given. I do really like the reno though and I'm hype for an lp. Maybe with the base game family lp. I think it was right after that drama filled one the girl and the guy who were friends and he got married and had a baby with the cute girl that had short curly hair. I can't remember the name of it but that family was to cute and quirky. The guys name was huck maybe....

what the hell. it would take all of about 30 seconds to research who the original builder was. it’s only fair to give credit to smaller creators when it takes VERY LITTLE effort. original builder was msgryphi for anyone wanting to check out their youtube channel.

I’ve added this to the description now, thanks for highlighting the importance of it. It’s a bit harder to find who built what at the time of filming as there are no videos out until 2 weeks later. But I will ask the sims directly next time before filming. It would be good if they can also give us a list.

I think it would be fair to at least check which creator built the house if you’re renovating it. It’s not hard to find out, James even has a video about it.

This is why I'm always putting a pool in my yard and then putting a basement right underneath it so that it literally has a view for the pool because of the natural light. I wish that was easy to do in real life but you have to be like a millionaire and have anything like that.

Jeez, why are people in the comments so rude? Deli did not know the creator because the Sims team did not inform her, not because she decided to be mean?! Sure, she could have researched it and added it into the video, but she has a lot of work to do and this was two weeks ago? How could she remember? Plus, instead of literally ignoring the fact she doesn't know the creator, she acknowledged it, and was transparent with us. Is it so hard to be empathetic?! Loved the build and impressed with the amount you got done in four days! I can imagine it was a crazy time around your house!:) I wouldnt pay any mind to people being rude in the comments, ea and the sims team could’ve made that info more accessible (eg when you hover over the house or included it in an ‘info pack’ for creators). Another aside, beaded doorways reminded me of puberty blues!! Maybe an aussie thing? Hehe

I’m sorry I forgot to credit in the video description before posting. At the time this was filmed, it was 2 weeks before anyones videos were out, so I’m unable to “search” who the creator is quickly. We are not given a list or anything. I forgot to put it in the description before posting as it was 2 weeks ago. I’ll try and not make that mistake in future as I do want to support all creators and their work!
