I'm surprised no one's called this out yet. I've been doing drop servicing for a while now and here's the honest truth behind the "new" business model you need to hear. Drop servicing as they say is apparently similar to Shopify dropshipping, except instead of selling Aliexpress products you sell Fiverr and outsourced services. I go over the business model of drop servicing and how it went for me, how it compares to SMMA and the dropshipping and ecommerce space.

Totally agree with the constant "shiny object syndrome". that people are experiencing all the time. It almost like every few months there is a "new" business model, and then people get distracted from what they are working on. If people could just stick with one thing instead of jumping from one opportunity to another, chances are that they would've reached their goals already.

True. I think a good approach is to mold business models into one another so it can be easier to focus on multiple at once. I’m just starting and that’s what I’m going to do because I’ll admit I used to be one of those people but I learned how to turn that weakness into a strength.

Well i do run a website developing business that does outsource some work to contractors with supervision. My problem with this type of business is post sales service. If the service didn't meet the client's expectations or if it broke down halfway, it then becomes my headache and not the contractor's. A healthy ratio of inhouse and outsource job with a keen eye for risky deals helps a lot.

I've been doing the "marketing agency" thing for a few months. What I've seen is that what is really difficult is YOU being in the position of controling everything. We know that we are delegating the operacional stuff like running social media ads but what I found most profitable is delegating the sales TOO. Creating jorneys for my emplyees like a to do list for each part of the business. "If you do that, the chances that you sell are higher." When some of those hunters close a client, I pay a 25% comission (from the liquid earnings, not from the revenue). The idea is to have selles doing the work for me. As times passes, I put a CEO on my place and let him deal with all that and I can bacome a owner outside the busniess just getting money.

Andrew, I agree its not a new business model, just rebranded, but spending most of the video on Facebook ads and social media management it's very narrow-minded. Drop servicing could be so much more.....walking dogs, cleaning driveways, set up basic websites, google my business, set up eCommerce shops, etc, etc....Also to comment about the comparison with dropshipping, it may be true that drop servicing could be less lucrative than drop shipping, but on drop shipping you need to risk a certain amount of capital on Ads in order to start getting sales traction..on the other hand, drop servicing its more about your own effort in getting to the customers and landing servides....Everything has its pros and cons, but I do think drop servicing is a great business model to take a look at.

You make good points, however agencies of any kind, even regular employment agencies, do make a lot of money (i worked under them) however they are teams of people, there is lots of paperwork, they still make money while hired public is doing the hard work, the agency is a middleman between business and work that needs to be done, it's the best position to be in, an agency isn't responsible for the inner functions and technalities of the business, they just connect workers to the business and get the profits, between worker and business, the agency is required to do the least amount of work and still be profitable

So true. Drop servicing is just a "new term" of the existing business model. But for a lot of people like me, we just didn't realize that we can be an agency without being an expert in that specific industry. I'm going to try a lot of make money online tactics and build 6-7 income streams and I'm definitely going to try this drop servicing! Thank you for sharing your honest opinion!

The problem here isn't bad quality service. The problem here is that you consider your clients as bosses. When working as a digital marketing drop servicer, always make a deal in such a way that the client feels the pressure over their own skills of converting leads to sales. Make them clear that your part is to bring in leads and that you would only work with them if they had a good lead conversion ratio and that they had a team to handle that. If they don't, you take that chance offering such services or just go a safe route of saying no. You know what your failure was now. Don't treat your clients as bosses. Make sure you have competitive clients who understand the risks and results of the provided service.

I had a question , how do you charge your clients for the leads , is it for every lead you provide or you only get paid for the one that converts . Also how much is the markup . For example if the product or service the clients is selling is making 200$ in profit per sale , how much is the client paying us per sale , In simple words how is the rate for a lead that we provide is calculated . Thank you
@Jewelsonn
@Jewelsonn Жыл бұрын
@@kartik9214 It's upto you. Go either with per sale or a quarterly or yearly contract to provide the service. You should watch how they close their deals with clients, there are some videos you could find where they do it live. They show what to say, do, etc.

@@kartik9214 getting paying by leads is like pissing your pants it feels nice in the moment but gets cold really fast! Also then your in the business of selling volume instead of selling quality and value. Also when selling leads you can't invest in the best talent because the margins are not there. witch in turn will hurt your business and client happyness. When you don't play the long game it will hurt you long term. Setting up your business model is super important and you need to think of who am i selling to? if you sell stuff for lower then minimum 1000 dollars then your selling to poor people and poor people suck because they can't afford to pay you well for your time and skills. Its a commen mistake to sell to poor people.

This popped again in my suggestions, so i want to make quick update. Last month was 11k revenue (7,5k into pocket) and this month looking to be same. Been building my business presence, but the drop servicing as a method of making is growing to be stronger than ever! More talents in my network to handle all the hard work, while i grow my business. Just dont forget to treat it like real business, because thats what it is. The easy part is just the making of service, with the help of freelancers. Good luck everyone!

hello Jani, I'm from Belgium. Did you take the specific course and is the Drop Servicing Blueprint legit?
@Rangoriable
@Rangoriable Жыл бұрын
Hey mate! No, i didnt take any courses, just gathered info and put everything together. You should ask that if you are entrepreneur, is it legit to use help of freelancers in your business? Answer is yes. In dropservicing only difference to someone that uses the help of freelancers sometimes, is that you basically use the help of freelancers much much more and often. There is nothing thats not legitimate in the business model. When someone asks me, do you have employees or who does all the work, i just answer that i have gathered talented group of freelancers together and we have been working together for years now. Then i show what kind of quality we can provide. Its that easy. If they like the quality, its all good! If they dont like your style or quality, you should point them to other direction and help them the best you can.
