Hola, soy Zach. I will try to learn Spanish for the next thirty days because why not?
What's the best way to learn Spanish? I have no idea, and I didn't do any research, which is very unlike me. I just jumped into the first resource I saw Xioma use, Storylearning. I then found a language exchange group of lessons and, of course, Duolingo.

Wow, I really enjoyed this video and if you're planning to do maybe a part 2 of this challenge, I think it'd be awesome! I'm Brazilian so Portuguese is my native language, but I've been learning Spanish for more than 2 years and I reached an advanced level, and I'm really impressed by the level that you achieved! Full immersion is definitely the way to go when possible. I did 8 weeks of language training before moving to Mexico. Depends on the person, but for me, I started to understand quite a bit after 2 months or so, and then I felt comfortable speaking fully after about 7-8 months of being there. It’s super cool once you start thinking in the language you’re learning. Good luck on your other languages!!

@@nave_writes I think you mistook physician for a person who studies physics. A physician is basically a doctor while a physicist is a person who studies and researches about physics.

Very cool and inspiring, Zach! 😊🎉👏 I agree, I think it helps to watch authentic content. And I think it helps even more when youve already seen it a bunch of times. For example, when I was little and learning English, my parents bought me the English version of my favorite movies. Anyway, just wanted to share that in case it's helpful to others.

Como seguidora española de tu canal, tengo que decirte que es increíble todo lo que has aprendido en sólo 30 días, aunque lo importante con el aprendizaje de cualquier idioma es continuar para no olvidar lo aprendido. P.D.: a finales de este año Netflix estrenará "Berlín", un spin-off de "La Casa de Papel".

Good video Zach! You did pretty well. I am just starting to try and learn Spanish. Obviously every region of Spanish speaking countries can have little differences. I'd heard that the Argentine Spanish is quite closely aligned with Italian. Have you heard this or did you find anything out about this during your time in Buenos Aires?

it's challenging to learn a language,but it's even more difficult when you need to learn two languages at the same time. I live in Montreal Canada. I moved there 10 years ago. My first language is Spanish and I can tell you that learning French was the most difficult to master. It took me around 3 years to be totally fluent in both languages.

Hi zach i just finished the MCAT but there is coincidence i got 97th perecentile on the MCAT to i don't know how the hell it heppend after i got the results i just discovered you too got 97th percentile its all because of watching your videos how to study and active recall helped me a lot thanks for the brilliant content thank a lot❤❤

:) love seeing someone started something from zero. Cringe … but somehow made me feel better about myself ….lol….sorry. My first 3 months learning English was exciting, my heart was racing every time I spoke with a native speaker. But 3 months is all you need for a breakthrough to happen.

buen español zach 🐸 te recomendaría q si vas a aprender español lo hagas con una jerga más neutra porque en argentina tienen muchas palabras que solo se usan ahí y su acento creo que te lo podría dificultar un poco

Wowww!!! Amazing!!! Congrats. Only a correction : Mas mejor… no. Se dice MUCHO MEJOR. Learn ,always change us.I born in Argentina, now I live in Spain. Come to Madrid the next time. Listen songs in spanish maybe be helpful, too. Soda Stereo , was a very good musician group. Maná mexican group, too. Movies like, El hijo de la novia, El secreto de sus ojos, Un cuento chino, Argentina 1985, No sos vos , soy yo;Tiempo de valientes, Música en espera. Series: Los simuladores, El encargado , are good in my opinion. Vos only use in Argentina o Uruguay. In the rest of countries is tú . Congrats!!!

Your style is not my style. I could not travel somewhere to learn a language. After two years of learning Spanish, the closest I've had to a conversation with a native is a short back and forth in KZfaq comments. Plenty rewarding for me however, and I love reading/listening to books, watching media, playing games, etc. How's your Italian coming along?

I can’t believe how many times this guy said Buenos “Aries” and also typed it in the captions without ever realizing that it is incorrect

And there are other errors in the subtitles and in his speech that he didn’t correct after editing the video. Like dude, it is not that hard to use a translator and proofread. Otherwise, why even point out other corrections?
