You do a great job on these user experience videos. Thanks. I rarely touch instagram at this point. I quit FB about 4 years ago. I thought of another thing cheaper than 11.99/ month, a walk in the local park, seashore, river side, hill side. I do appreciate the need for creative people to have a social media presence. It also seems to me that we have a large number of people out there that want to scam people. So how do you protect from scammers, have a reasonably priced system that is safe for everyone? I'm not sure we're there yet. But keep doing what you're doing. I like your videos.

I see a big problem when you build a profile under your artist name. or when you cannot state your real name on a social network (there may be such reasons). unfortunately, no one will verify you

You’ve pretty much described our experience. In fact after my initial excitement on instagram. I’m pretty frustrated with it now. Becoming almost irrelevant for us now, did Facebook ruin it ? Or was it always inevitable? Ever more posts from ever more creators, with decreasing numbers viewing. Can’t see instagram recapturing the glory days. I may however just be a grumpy old cynic 😂

I had it for several months. I canceled when I contacted support (admittedly they were quick to respond) for a time I was restricted from posting for 24 hours (all I had done was try to reply to a comment someone had left on my post, nothing spammy, nothing offensive, just something that triggered something). Support acknowledged it, but said there was nothing they could do - I just had to wait it out. So I canceled.

I'm verified since 2019 and feel my pages are shadow banned. These apps are frustrating to continue to use. Loving the setup BTW, video looks great

yeah the same situation for me with the customer support, they're really good and fast at responding but it's basically common knowledge for the responses, i do still have it to test out new features but i don't think new features are being released just yet just for meta verified subscribers... even though many new tests are in the wild to random accounts

Ironically, I was just looking into this for my artwork and personality page along with my band. I’m surprised how many people were willing to pay that kind of praise and everything anymore is subscribe and save. I don’t know if I am saving, at this point. I personally think it’s just another way for them to monetize. It used to be that you could put an ad on Instagram or Facebook and they would push for gigs and shows, but I don’t feel like it’s worth it anymore. I haven’t seen anything better for the last few years.

I'm asking this (and it might be many others question as well) because I have a brand ("Grandes Gestores") and this authentication is not for my name, but for the brand itself. However, when I was about to buy the meta verification, I was asked to put my name on the profile (and not the brand's). I've heard we cannot change them (name and pic) at all. Suspiciously positive comments from supposed meta users...why not ask how many ordinary VR users have had their headsets bricked for refusing to send passport or driving licences to meta... If you trust this company you need your head read...the danger isn't hackers stealing your account ..the danger is meta randomly shutting you out for non compliance with their intrusive demands. Meta Will never get a single cent from me again.
