Tip for anyone who wants to try calligraphy: upward strokes are thin, so press lightly with your pen. You draw downward strokes thick, so press down harder

Quick tip for anyone wanting to do calligraphy. Thick on the way down, thin on the way up. Always use a brush pen. And to get confidence use a calligraphy alphabet to learn the letter joins!

Pro tip for calligraphy: thin on the upstroke, thick on the downstroke. When you make an upstroke tilt the pen and press lightly to get a thinner line and do the opposite when moving downwards. It helps to keep everything ~loose~ and focus on making smooth movements with your wrist.

I’m a lefty, I was actually born a righty but I have a medical condition that effects my right hand so now I do everything with my left hand and I can’t even imagine what it’s like to do things with your right hand

@@xladdycx4509 well yes a marker is very similar to a pen but they are still different and classified as different because markers have a sponge tip which the ink flows out but the pen has a metal tip with a whole which the ink flows out. And the ink is a bit different on each
