the best is to wait AFTER 4- 6 months because it takes time like really looong time but it is worth it at the end especially at Christmas time...also you got banned because you published 50 pin a day not the merchant thing

Loved this was so so helpful. I started a pinterest 3 months ago and didn't want to over put affiliate links on as was worried about being banned and over advertising but was looking to make a small amount of money alongside my job and I didn't get anything at all which really hit me back and I lost interest for a week but because I am passionate about what I am pinning and I do love it I am going to keep going I feel like this is the video I needed to see that it takes time:) A part 2 would be amazing! Also any ideas on how to get the best affiliate links after trying a few sites would be helpful!

It was genuine, and the exact results i got and like you continue to work on it to see what i can accomplish over time. 100% you giving us the real is so much more relatable and Even though you didn't get the results you were looking for initially. I love how you are still persevering and pushing on with what you've enjoyed and want to continue doing pins. I feel the same. I like doing the pins. Then your pins are not visible in google /google images. Do you posting only to your own pin account/board or do you share your pins to related pinterest boards? When you share all your pins to related other people boards, most of them staying in the pinterest bubble like facebook, they not going to an external website. So try for the next three months posting only to your own pin board to see if you will get more clicks to your external sites. Better do organic seo ranking. With medium is the same problem or facebook most of their audiences stay within in the bubble and not going out to external websites. But there is another affiliate problem, the user opens a new browser to search for your product and you are out of race, you not get a single commission. (because your affiliate cookie can't count it).

While it simple to try affiliate marketing whit pinterest, the competition is brutal, is hard for people to even find your pins, but over all it dosen't cost money to have this side hustle, so is not a bad option, just keep posting while your pins become more and more visible.

Thanks for someone finally showing the real truth and not like most KZfaqRS making up unreal numbers that they earn from these methods! They make money from KZfaq views and their affiliate deals that they try to sell to us to get their commission. For this they put attractive "Titles" with which to attract you and have traffic to their channel! This is their scheme!

I wouldn’t do that. Even if you tag them. I would and I know others who will report that as a stolen pin. In my experience Pinterest will typically pull those pins down.

You won’t be getting affiliate income from Pinterest directly. It will come from other programs like Amazon associates so that’s where you need to enter payment info.

You don't get paid via Pinterest. You get paid through affiliate networks you sign up for. Pinterest is just a platform for you to get exposure

Q: were the pins for a single URL? 50 pins is excessive BUT if you create more Pinterest accounts and add some automation which you did in the video BUT that is tiny to what you can do. You can generate traffic in different ways besides advertising plus use paid Pinterest advertising and 50 pins. Why on earth would pin shut down a 50 pin per day and advertising? Oh 50 pins is hard to do which means you schedual them too close. Open multiple pen accounts they are free and log on your home and your phone because you deal with photos get another ISP is like $35 a month but shows as a second IP get a domain name but did you know you can turn any pin account into a business without a domain. Use influencer paid traffic or shout on upward or free ads on rags or KZfaq all without showing your face just concentrate on the clicks and that link thing toss it after you get 12 links on it try 50 or 1k links on that thing it’s messy confusing and free is not what it’s all out to be.

May be your strategy is not good attaching affiliate link in you every single pin will not good for your account you have to separate the affiliate pins and normal content pins before posting and schedule them because the audience is for getting inspiration not for buying things so it’s very important to give better content rather just putting your affiliate links in every pin

@@ChristinasSideHustles We all make mistakes, but more importantly mistakes is a good thing, its like looking and independence day. my son and I love that movie, so we have looked at his over 100 times, each time watching, looking for errors. The best part is the independence day speech. Gives me goose bumps! Gosh, I need to look at that movie again as I work on this machine. LOL. Keep up the good work and do throw in some error just to see who is watching. Oh- the other day I got a company wide email. The message was weird. I contacted the training and asked if anyone else responded. he said no, then I said my peace- he tell me, it was typed incorrectly. "So" the lesson here is, to see if people are paying attention- say something weird or particular and see what happens, but be careful. Our secret email testers try to fool people into clicking on emails or links- click or even open a test mail and you go to 1 hour of email training. eMail training is where you sit at this computer, they call the TRAIN station. We call it the PAIN station, you sit there clicking Yes, No testing and reading and listening. Its been a year, never again- I question everything now. I refuse to be the next SUCKER!

1. 2-3 pins per day is too small for your niche 2. Do your keywords research every week 3. Remove money from the equation Pinterest account takes up to 100 days of consistency before it blow up.
