As a goalkeeper this is my prediction for the gloves in 2050 Number 1 the finger protection changes it will give protection but also feel like they are not there for easier catching and handling Number 2 the latex will be more difficult to damage and have more grip Number 3 the comfort Number 5 the punching zone And number 6 the design

in the future, like kieran said, i think there are going to be cameras on balls but the way they are going to make that camera stable is by putting on the same effect that those spinning globes have where you can move it in your hand but it doesnt look like it moves because the inside doesnt but the outside does and theyll put the camera on the inside so that it isnt effected. but if they do that the camera will have to have its own crew for the ball so the its always looking in the perfect direction and thats how theyll optimise it

With that 3D printed football, I bet it will look like the new concept NBA ball. Mabie you could try again with a hollow design and rubber filament, making it softer and bouncier?

That ball was printed using SLS technology, not filament based, and not SLA like this video shows. But either way, all three modalities have both rigid and flexible options to choose from.

A lot of American sports are far more technologically advanced than soccer. The most advanced stat in soccer is probably xg, meanwhile the NBA has hundreds of advanced stats. The NFL tracks the ball and every player ten times per second and can recreate an accurate 3d video of what happened. Baseball can easily measure the velocity of balls that are hit, and much more. Also, the premier league has almost perfectly copied the NFL when it comes to modernizing the game, at least commercially. I predict that soccer will be similar to how the NFL is today.
