If you don't want to concede many goals play with left and right midfielders instead of wingers because they help defend. Play with defensive fullbacks. Dont drag your defenders out of position only when necessary. Use your central and defensive midfielders a lot when defending before dragging your defenders. Use match up effectively.

Learn how to defend with the match up button,not with the pressure button because you want your defenders to defend,not to aggress.

The main downgrade of possession playstyle is that your winger's doesn't make killer runs they just stand like statues only the AMF and CF makes run

For me the best formation for possession game is the 4-3-1-2 (real madrid version), its gives u control over the whole pitch, its lacks wingers but if u make the cmfs box-to-box or orchestrators they cover the empty spaces very well, (note: cmfs should be tall and strong i have gravenberch and camavinga) AND UR THE BEST BRO ❤️

The toughest opponents I've faced use QC. You have to be on your toes like most of the times because of all the runners.
