I’m just mad that people would be mad if princess Tiana would be white or That Mulan would be black . Every different races would be mad is you take someone that was originally a certain race and change that to another race . I have nothing against black people or any person it’s just that they are changing the ORIGINAL character .

At the end of the day everything doesn’t need to be about race PERIOD! This girl got that job cause she’s a good actor for the role. That’s it. Relax. Breann Nguyen Personally, I think that the race of Ariel doesn’t matter bc culture didn’t have anything to do with the plot. It was about a mermaid that lived under sea that wanted to be on land. While in other movies such as Mulan, it involved the Chinese culture of bringing honor to the family and not to mention that it took place hundreds of years ago in China where all if not most people were Chinese. Also in Tiana’s case it did matter because in the movie it involved her living in New Orleans growing up poor and having gumbo cookouts with her family and neighbors. Basically what I’m trying to say is the colored Disney princess movies involved their culture as a substantial part of their identity and the others not so much.

I 100% agree, when I saw she got the role I was so excited! She has an incredible voice and will make the best Ariel. 10/10 I will watch it specifically because she was cast for the lead role.

Being a southerner (Texas) , brisket is one of my favorites. Charred almost black outside, but inside is perfectly cooked with pink rings on the meat. Not all dry but juicy and flavorful. Also a good BBQ doesn't need sauce.

She was originally made green...AND on top of that she's a damn mythical creature... mythical creatures don't have a race. The more you speak the more racist you sound. And yes, they made the first Ariel movie a white red head but keep in mind the movie came out in 1989 and there wasn't a lot of diversity so that's probably why a lot of the older princesses you see are white. But again the original book version of Ariel was green, if your going to be mad at anyone it should be people who made the 1989 film and changed her to being white.

I've always silently questioned those middle aged white women who wear Disney clothes and have Disney branded credit cards. And to be transparent, I am a 39 year old white woman. timmy...i can't believe you've never had southern food...i'm a kentucky girl...i grew up on food like this...southern food is definitely different...it's so good...wraps around you like a hug...i'd have to say my favorite dish is pretty simple....just pinto beans and corn bread (baked in an iron skillet of course).

So glad you said this, I’m so excited for The Little Mermaid and The Lion King!! 💙 You should try grits! , some folks like it with sugar , and others, like myself, like it with salt and butter, have a true southern breakfast- a bowl of grits, eggs over easy, bacon and some cathead buttermilk biscuits 😍 10/10 do recommend 💙 love you tomato queen 👑 🍅

Just found you on here and just wanna say you emit such a welcoming, positive, and electric energy! I grew up in the south, and the food down here is definitely in a category of its own. Imagine having access to this everyday... food is life. You have a bad day, you eat some good food, and everything feels okay again. Makes being healthy a bit hard though
