I Tried SKIN RETOUCHING using Ai (Photoshop Best Prompts)

Welcome to PSDESIRE, in this Photoshop tutorial where I'll show you how to retouch skin using Photoshop AI. In this tutorial, we'll cover two methods: blending and intensity. By using the right prompts, you can achieve high-end skin smoothing in just a minute.
01:02 First, let's look at the challenging image with two faces. We'll enable quick mask mode, fill it with 30% gray, and then exit the mode. Click on "Generative Fill"
02:13 Use prompts like "skin smoothing," "skin lighting," and "skin toning" to get impressive results. Choose the second generated option that closely resembles the original image.
03:05 To blend the new skin, use the "Apply Image" feature, preserving the original texture and pores. Paint over the eyes with a black brush to maintain their appearance. If you want more intensity, duplicate the layer and adjust the opacity. Now compare the before and after images for the beautiful skin retouching.
04:36 For the next sample, follow similar steps with intensity sliders. Enter quick mask mode, fill it with 30% gray, and exit the mode.
05:02 Click on "Generative Fill" using prompts like "skin smoothing," "skin lighting," and "skin coloring." Reduce intensity by lowering the opacity and paint over the eyes with black.
05:50 To address a scar, make a selection, apply generative fill without prompts, and choose the best variation. Improve lighting using Camera Raw Filter.

After clicking on the mask button, my contextual bar does not show the Generative Fill choice? I am using the Beta version and normally the Generative Fill choice works, it just doesn't work when masking the entire image, even after selecting 40 percent grey and then clicking on the mask button again? As far as I can tell you must select either part of the image or the entire image for the Gen fill function to work.

At the 4:42 mark in the video when you select the color, you can try different Opacity settings in the Fill dialog box. I'm referring to the opacity of the fill, and not to the shade of gray. Depending on the image, a Fill opacity setting between 20% and 40%, combined with adjusting Gen Fill layer Opacity, seems to leave the Gen Fill result most like the original - but with the desired result.

Before you exit quick mask mode, try using a black brush. Focus on areas like hair, eyes, dress, nostrils, and even the edges of the face shape. Just use a very small brush size for this. By doing this, you'll be able to avoid ending up with a different-looking person or a disfigured result.

Disfigured the face in face portraits and also changed the clothing in full body portraits. Added many different phrases to the Prompt to avoid this from happening but no success

Hello Eshwar, I just tried with different images. Its work on skin is perfect, but it changes the face ( looks different face). I tried 2 different images. It changes faces to different faces to some extent. If you know why or how to fix it, please let me know. Your technique it great in saving time for portrait retouching, but face should remain same face.

When you get the Fill dialog box, make sure that the Blending mode, normal, and opacity is set to 100%. I had the same thing happen, and then I realized the mistake.

because thats a clickbait and fuckin fake haha .. or we dont unterstand something important. maybe u have to train the KI to understand what we are look for.. profi tipp: just select a little part of the skin and then press generating fill or tipp smoothing into it.. then it will work

How on earth are you able to get PS to smooth the skin… I have followed the instruction over and over and over again… on my photo, generative fill is replacing the face with some absurd doesn’t look anything like the original at all…

This thing has a long way to go. It made it look as if the two faces were completely created in AI with no relationship to an existing photo. Those were two, beautiful and expressive faces, with character and 'humanness'. Now they look like plastic masks. Back to the drawing board.

Perhaps changing the % of the gray fill layer, as shown at the 1:56 mark in the video, would change how strongly the effect is applied.

For the most part the "smoothing" your doing is just extreme "pixel blending". You could achieve the same result with the smudge, blend and history brushes. Unfortunately this method is disingenuous and erases the "essence" of the face by taking away the natural skin pores. "lines" and other defining characteristics which makes a(ny) face unique and human. For the past 20+ years society has been subjected this unreal vision via Magazine covers, social media and the like. If you are of a younger generation then you grew up with this and may not think anything of it and maybe even consider this "normal" however it is not. When is that last time you have seen anyone look like this in person (except for a person with a ton of makeup)? Does it look good? Objectively, as a retouched photograph, not really. As a digital painting...maybe yes(

Ok faces look smoother but not a fan ,these girls are beautiful on how they look no need to change there appearance. Its wrong after all how many of girls have body conscious problem. I love there uniqueness.
