Mattress stuffing, once a thing of the past, is now making a come back! I will usually take out the maximum that an ATM will allow me ($500). Over time, 50% of the cash can become a decent chunk for emergencies. If every bank customer showed up to a branch demanding cash, the police would probably be called.

Yes indeed! Gotta keep it how you can. Also. Dependent on the bank. You can adjust that daily withdrawal limit( I know for mine I adjusted it to 1500$) but just fyi! Also I agree. People would be denied. Then we would really see how this plays out…

I have pulled 95** 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Absolutely no problems. I asked about pulling 50*** or more and they asked for 1 day notice. All this at the main bank drive thru.

Got $2,500 out for a vacation from a credit union. No issues at all. They just asked if I wanted an envelope or not.

The largest amount I needed to take out in cash of my bank was $5,000 in cash and they asked in what bill denomination. I asked for $50 bills and they just went to the back and brought it to me.

Technically, physical cash is not yours, it's considered 'Government property'. You still get credit that the money is yours but the government can recall the physical money anytime it wants to for its agenda and give you a replacement of its choice. The 1933 gold recall is a good example.

No I did not. They only have you fill out a form if you deposit 10k or more

Yah I think most people see it’s coming; but are unsure of what to do and how to prepare! How are you preparing? And as far as the currency being worthless. I think it’s gonna be much different than anyone thinks. There is no real way to prepare for the unknown. But I like to stick to stacking; food,water,guns,ammo, and lots of God!!! @@MyLifeInStacks That’s a smart move. It’s better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. I know that historically fiat monetary systems have collapsed hundreds of times globally since even before the Roman Empire. And they collapse 100% of the time to zero. They last generally about 50 years. We went full fiat 52 years ago. As of right now, more than half the countries in the world have dropped the dollar as their reserve currency. I’m thinking the writing is on the wall. All we can do is hunker down. Best wishes to you and your family.

Cash on hand requirements could change from state to state. Where I live, it's common to have to put in a request for large withdrawls a couple days in advance, for small and large institutions. When there was a coin shortage, most of the businesses in my area stopped accepting cash. So, it is real; and now I'm thinking that it depends on who's managing state and local policies where we live, if you haven't experienced the same thing. In response to the other topic, I can understand the investor's aversion to Ag and Au purchases for the time being, but I'm more on the side of money-stacking than investing. I'm continuing to stack under a specific philosophy and according to my developing understanding of the separate monetary roles Au, Ag and cash serve in our lives. I haven't gotten into mining stocks or numismatics yet, so I don't share the thought process, but your decision is logical in terms of value vs. price.

I agree with it varying from local government to local government, if you don’t mind me asking. What country and or state are you in? Also, I believe that dependent on each individual’s goals and game plan is where they should make the decision if they would rather invest, trade, stack PMs, or cash etc is based on what their goal is. If my goal is to buy a house(dependent on time frame). I would just be stacking cash and not putting that money at risk because it’s strictly for the house. But if I’m looking to grow my wealth. Then I would go the route of investing, trading etc… and it seems as though I am in a bit of both areas right now. Maybe a little to diversified. @@MyLifeInStacks Northern Cali. We're the first to panic whenever there's a "shortage." At this point, I'm sure it's regional. Like you, I like to stay close to liquid. I don't plan on owning a home; if I do, it'll be rentals or something I can sell quickly, but that's a ways off. Best wishes to your channel!

I gave all those shiny tokens away . I kept the gold pieces Oh by the way withdraw all money from your bank! I had a problem getting my money out .it took me 2 weeks to withdraw all my money approximately $230,000 and do the wise thing and buy gold..gold will always go up in value 28 years ago i purchased ounces of gold each once was worth $300 Now its worth $2,300

I want to move $20k fro a savings paying 2.25% interest to an account paying 4% interest. But I’m nervous moving that amount of cash. Mines a credit union. I use 2 credit unions with $20k in each savings. I do carry a weapon with me at all times.

Well, depending on what account you’re moving the money into. You could usually do a wire transfer; that way you don’t have to carry the money around! And or just do a cashiers check from your bank to the account you’ll be putting it in. Hope this helps! Best of luck!

Instead of investing the 20k in an account giving 4%, it would be better to invest 20k in gold and silver coins. That way your money is safe, it appreciates and the government can't get their hands on it.

Yes and no. I don’t think of gold and silver as an investment in the normal way of an investment such as, buy something, get dividends while you wait for it to appreciate and then sell for a return. I think of gold and silver as insurance if or when things go sideways I am covered.

And you're walking down the street with 10k in cash? Hope you live in a good neighborhood. And I assume you have a fireproof safe at home that is too heavy to be removed from the premises. And I also hope that all the people that watch your channel don't know where you live. You may only have only 57 subscribers but 56 of them could be thieves who would really like to pin down your location. There are ways to find out that information. Just be careful when you put your whole life on the internet for the whole world to see!

I see… I agree that I manage my money better than the bank as well. But I don’t put it in the bank for growth. Just to keep some In another place. If you don’t mind me asking. Do you have an emergency fund?, if so do you keep it all in the things you stated above? Just curious… I do like liquidity and having it on hand. I went to my bank to withdraw $2k. The teller was hesitant and went to the manager. I thought here we go, but she came back and counted it out. She said they had lots of traffic lately and that it may pay to call ahead if I needed more, but I didn’t have any problems. I quickly bought my golden eagle just down the road at my local coin shop.

A bank will give you 10k easy. Now if you go in there looking for 100k 200k a quarter million 1 million yeah they will need some time to get that money. They don’t keep big amounts of cash on hand like that. 10k you get 10 K all day long. I don’t what kind of funds you have access to. This is my first time ever seeing your channel. If you have access to it, try to get 100k just for shits and giggles.

I would disagree with your statement as far as being able to get 10k easily because lots of youtubers have made videos claiming they aren't able to get out 600$,2500$, 1500pounds. Given the benefit of the doubt that they aren't lying, I would say it's not easy if a lot of people are having the same issue which is what prompted me to make the video. I appreciate your feedback though! I wouldn't take out that much due to several reasons, most of which my capital is tied up in investment accounts and most of which is not in the bank! Also, in this day and age, withdrawing and redepositing that amount of money would be hectic having to deal with the thumbs of the eye are ess. Keep on stacking brother!

10k will be ez if you have good internal rating. 100k on the other hand will need some regional vp approval type of sht since it involves cash truck delivering much more cash on that specific order date.
