Try performing tricks while airborne, but learn to time plus chain your drifts and tricks for speed combos. For example in shibuya downtown there's a area off to the side where you can perform multiple trick rolls if you can roll 5 times, you'll the max speed combo, but if you perform different variations you'll get a multi flip combo and you get exp for item skill, racing proficiency, combos, and finally the difficulty you play on. In essence, the game is fun as heck due to the endless creative elements at play especially on Xbox Series S/X or on pc
