Hello guy, this video was a long time coming because I love the show run with the wind (or Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru) and I wanted to try running in Quarantine as a lot of sports I did before weren't possible anymore. Though I will never be as fast as Kakeru or Haiji, this was really fun, I ended up running faster and further than I thought and I hope you enjoy!

This show is SO underrated. It's easily the best sports anime I've ever watched. (is it because it's about my sport? Who knows, but I stand by it)

I feel the exact same way as you! You get so attached to the characters that the ending is rlly heartbreaking :( especially when kakeru asked if “you like running” just like Haiji 😭 really hits that it’s the end of it

@Abhinav Karthik well running only made me lose my appetite, so I can follow my daily calorie limit. If you want to lose weight, limiting calories.

I found your channel by searching through "Run with the Wind" videos and wanted to say I really admire your slice-of-life vlogs that focus on running/athletics, also the meals you prepare to help nourish an active lifestyle! This anime inspired me to start training for my first 5k ever (and hopefully more)! It's really comforting to see others who are inspired by the series as well, both established runners and novices alike. :) Keep up the good work!

I literally started rewatching the how a few days ago and felt so motivated I woke up early went to run the next day. I ran just 2k but for someone like me who hates moving her body literally like Prince lol it was a good achievement and I felt really good after that too. Watching your video motivated me even more I'm not ready to take this challenge yet but I surely will try to do it some day!

This was amazing!!, last year I ran 15 km from zero watching this show. I stopped because after 6 months of trainning because of my job and ended not doing it anymore... But! I started to re-watch the show again planning to finish completely on Jan 2nd and 3th (Hakone ekiden dates) I have never met somebody that was inspired to run after an anime... And watching your video inspired me to go back to action. I am now subscribed. I wish you the very best for 2021. See you in the track

I just did my first 10k 2 nights ago and ive been obsessed with this show for the past 6 months. i think i might follow your footsteps and try this crazy ass routine. Ive only been running for 2 months so ill probably fail really badly but seems fun either way. You're a legend for doing this whole thing it looks so insane haha keep killing it!!!

As someone who is a fan of the show as well as a runner, well done! Your preparation and attitude towards running will take you far in the sport, I have no doubt you will finish a marathon at some point. Recovery runs are a really good way to build up your aerobic base endurance, so keep them up if you enjoy them. When you start a plan for another race or big goal, you will be well prepared. The training from the show is kinda a more old fashioned way of training in japan, considering the high amount of race pace tempo runs, time trials and progressive runs, alongside pretty high mileage later on when they start running twice a day, I think it kinda changed a bit in recent years, but I have no clue from when the book is or what the author used as source for the plans. Great Video!

I have a friend who loves running and I’ve done three races with her and no training so things got worse over the years. After watching run with the wind this year it helped me understand why a bit more. Long story short I’m injury prone but I’m trying to get in the groove. I run when the sun is down but this vid has me energized to go right now. I have no stamina for this but just willpower. This is amazing and I’m glad you’re doing rest days

Look up injury resistance training! Its basically improving muscles and tendons to protect you from easy wear and tear injuries

I usually don't bring water during my runs especially long runs. Just plan a loop so you don't carry you water

Yes I'm watching it for the fourth time and I don't want spoilers. I love the pleasant feel I get from this show. There's no exaggeration nor there's anything SUPER about or in this show. It's just neat and clean and light persistence. You don't absolutely HATE any character neither do you absolutely love anyone. crazy just came accross ure video having just down the Dublin Marathon 2022 last Sunday in 4:11:15. Hopefully you are still running. Im back watching Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru ( Run with the wind) again for the 3th time while decideing wheither i will run the Hamburg or Luxembourg marathon next year 2023. I tend to watch all anime in Japanese with english subs

I started with 2.40km, then 3km and now I’m running 5km once a week. I started because of this anime. It’s been a few months now. Hope i can run half marathon one day too.

the worst part about that show was that it ended I used to jog casually like about 2-3k everyday but after watching this I'm starting to run 8-10k

I used addidas running to track my runs but there are a bunch of great options at the app store!

XD The turtle is always ther signaling your lowest pace :D 3 month before I was running like 3 days a week building up to being able to run a 10k without a break or anything

@@arthoefmann Haha fair enough. Amazing results on your runs :) Im in week 3 of running three times a week currently. Never been a runner but it kind of fascinates me and it aligns perfectly with my goal of getting more fit/ losing weight. I'm already kind of looking forward to the runs each week which I never thought I'd ever do. The very beginning SUCKED tho since I've been extremly lazy for years but im getting there. The anime is so damn good, rewatched it a couple of times already. I'm a sucker for sports anime in general but this one certainly sticks out. I'd love to follow the programs from the show, but thats just to much for me by a great margin. (my current runs vary between 3-4 km). Maybe someday
