In this video, I flew to Japan to try some of the world's deadliest meals & understand why people continue to eat these dishes despite the risks. The dishes include live octopus, jellyfish, and Japanese Puffer Fish, also known as Fugu.

I had Puffer Fish when I went to Japan many years ago. I agree it is delicious. Wasn't as worried as you, as I knew it was properly prepared. Cool to see the process. Great video as always. If you fancy a challenge. I dare you to try Casu martzu.

key thing, is he went to reputable sources with years of experience with experts who literally know these seafood down to a science. There is always a risk, especially with fugu, but it is lower with a skilled professional.

I could never eat a live octopus for multiple reasons. It being live and its suction cups are are the main reasons. I'll eat them fully cooked like my Calamari. And forget the pufferfish.
