18:18 the AI doesn't block this because you still have the attack token and a big overwhelm unit. the AI knows it's pointless to block. it will always do this if it knows you have lethal. EDIT: best way to do this would be to pass the attack round and play Gwen when they have the attack token.

Or a simpler challenge like S rank Aurelion with Veigar - No, really. That's it. Veigar is surprisingly slow given Aurelion levels up Round 3 or 4. . S rank means defeating last champion with 30+hp

the real difficulty of PoC comes from lack of levels. Nidalee being able to equip items like the nexus has tough and the various items on your cards helps a ton.

I am *convinced* the AI knows what keyword Kai'sa's minions get when attacking, the sheer ammount of times the rock hopper gets quick attack just as they attack is mind boggling

Such a shame he didn't try to finish Piltover & Zaun 1.5 star adventure. Ezreal tends to not let you finish him at full hp. My personal idea to deal with this would be to play 3star Gwen with 2 items: 1 that gives her "Level up: Rally" and 1 that gives her "Skills and Spells do 1 more damage", because that usually means you get get to heal to full when you get to attack with her while killing opponent with her skill.

For the fight that mills itself, I've had them mill themselves while I had a lifesteal unit attacking to deny me the heal. I was waiting for that to happen here.

AI has a tendency to lower player's health at any cost even, if it is losing. I think it has to do with the ranking system at the end of the run, because you get less XP points for a lesser rank. Riot, explain!

next time try put gnar in the deck!! the transform synergy is really cool. also, just run quicksand for kai sa matchup. it counters her pretty well and is also a shuriman card (like nidalee)!

My favorite power with Nidalee so far is the one that copies any spell you cast on an ally on your weakest ally. Random 5 drops on turn 1 is a very decent game start.

5:45 the striking one is the definite best answer here for the challenge. You can make a case for all of them. But the strike is technically a 3/3 and cleaver is a 5/5. Refilling mana is just a win more. The instant heal 2 probably heal 4 or more is sick

the version he ends up playing of "end with full health" is legit how I've always tried to play path of champions :'D though I don't reset it if I fail haha

As PoC player there are some consistent behaviors from the AI you can exploit, which in this case played against you. If I recall correctly, when you perform a free attack on the opponent and you still have the attack token the AI won't block even if it would kill them. In the very rare cases that you wanna be blocked on the free attack you should first spend your attack token and then use the free attack. It's like the AI says "Oh this guy still has the attack token, I'm going to let the first attack go through and block the second one since it's going to use the most units".

Trying to beat the hardest challenge with an unleveled champ was a disaster lmao. It's literally designed to be impossible until you reach a certain point of progression.

I feel you with how the AI absolutely REFUSES to block free attacks under any circumstances.

This is my theory on why they don't block scout or free attack if its lethal. I think the ai knew it will over whatever they do after that attack, so it makes sense to not block to save the players time @18:20

at 18:40 you ask why the AI doesn't block it. It doesn't block it because it knows it dies when you swing immediatelly after, and if it dies THEN you leave at full hp... but it's not alone. The AI doesn't need to win a specific fight, as long as it can chip you. Well, or it's about time saving for people who aren't doing a nutty "leave every fight at full hp" run while not just using 3-star Gwen.

I mean, the changed rules are basically what one should do in every PoC adventure if they have the ability to. Health carries over, so healing is important. Plus, ending on full health gives that sweet, golden, magnificent S rank and you have to be a fool to not want it. Although it doesn't do anything, really.

Doing this with 3 star Viegar is actually pretty easy for a lot of maps lol

PoC is a lot of fun.

I mean ye theres a reason I stopped doing path of champion, some of these runs seem completely designed around 1 champion to work and need a huge amount of luck. Kayne for example gets loads of bonuses for kills, so them you run into a fight in shadowlands where they can't die so you never get your bonus ever... so he is 100% unable to do it. It's just a mess.

The only real challenge in PoC is to beat adventures with 2.5 and more stars without giving the champion more than a single star. Don't switch out the champ, instead try to go for the hardest adventure you can win.

Its weird i try to do this all time i just dont like to recivr damage un path and i win whitout recing damage in aurelion sol aventure i get the power where shufle 10 level up champions and evelyn power give +2/+2 to every unit so all unity was +20/+20 even the husks

I only play poc and perhaps I could do this with my higher level champions but as sunny is doing ain't no way lol

I was playing Kaisa run with Nidalee today. She destroyed Me with 3copies of Kaisa, when i was 1off potential lethal... They upgrade ai a bit and its harder now. Almost impossible before lv8-10 2stars

Stars without levels are hard man! when you are hifh level 2 star bard is so fucking broken 'cause evey card on your deck have an item, most of it give stats, so aways have the keywords

Jhin is easily the best champ for a challenge like this. I've beaten Asol without taking damage just cuz its so easy to full stun a board
