Nah man I been doing it for nearly 30 years from the first time I did it. I been going to the barber for the last 8 years now. Personally I don’t got time to stand in front of the mirror for an hour when I can go get right for half the time and twice the job. Going to the barber is 1000% worth it. I go once a week. That’s why I used to do my own cuts, cuz I would do my sides every 3-4 days, excessive I know, but that’s how u stay fresh erreday 🔥

@@TheYoungAze I feel like it's the most important guard, probably why you only ever get it in the high end and midtier clippers, but not in the beginner/starter home cut. It's also the best for trimming the bulk like MC barber does.

I remember those days of butchering myself thinking I actually blended 😂 5 years later and I'm STILL learning how to get a smooth blend on myself. It absolutely takes time. I appreciate videos like this because he'll look back and definitely learn from those mistakes and not just jump into the cut without planning it out better. Great job on saving this guy!

Seriously. I've been cutting my own hair for 3ish years and I JUST now started to get a decent blend. I think back to when I first started, all the times I went outside thinking I did a good job lol.

I work at a chain salon and the past few days I’ve used your techniques, I’ve slowed down and I’ve doubled the amount of money I make AND found my passion again. I had a real bad one done to me and not even by my own hands. Asked for a 2 to a 3 guard and she took the 3 all the way up to where I part my hair. Now I'm growing it all out.
