As a crocheter , we get everyone wanting everything for free and half the price. I’ve tried selling my things because it’s my hobby. But, I always end up losing out. Even on the days it would’ve been nice to have extra cash… but oh well. That’s why I just gave up.

Doing crochet is just a beautiful work of art, and you should never try to belittle their work by asking them to sell their work for less. It takes them time to make their work. My mom does crochet mostly for fun now because she got tired of people telling her work was overpriced , and trying to negotiate her prices. She has made me so many stuff over the years. Once a friend of mine asked me to make her something I offered for sale. I made it, asked her for £18 (which was the price the whole time) and she kicked up a fuss until I lowered it down to £12. What she didnt consider was buying the yarn, the safety eyes, the time it took to make and build the toy, the stuffing and the shipping. I learned a valuable lesson that day; simply say no if they cant afford it at the price that has been set.
