I've got a launch model ps4 and it can run DMC 5 at flawless 60 fps, with far more impressive visuals than any From game has had yet and up to a dozen enemies on screen, while running 3 player online co-op, with all three doing ridiculously fast and flashy air combos constantly. Not the slightest hint of a performance drop. Several bosses comparable in size to the biggest ones in Bloodborne too, again with flawless performance. The only time the game has any performance issues is when you've got more than 20 charged shots moving onscreen at once, which is only possible to do in practice mode while abusing an ability that lets you slow time and the game's physics for everything except yourself, in a way that is otherwise impossible to do to anywhere near the extent required to pull this off. Outside that mode you can only keep slowed time active long enough to just barely get off 8 charged shots, nowhere near what it takes to cause even the slightest performance drop. Even then, tracking 21 moving explosive objects at once, while spamming an ability that alters the entire game's physics heavily, only causes the game to slow down for a split second before it's back to solid 60. Even trying to force slowdown on the game by pushing it too far in ways that were never intended and cannot even be done in normal play, barely slows it down and the slowdown is so brief that it's literally blink and you'll miss it. If a 9 year old, launch model Ps4 can do that well with an over the top, ridiculously good looking and lightning fast 2019 action game, it's surely more than powerful enough to handle Bloodborne at 60 isn't it? The game just needs to be optimized well, if what Capcom achieved with the RE Engine in DMC 5 is any indication of how powerful the base model Ps4 actually is.

@@zeroattentiongaming820 it's due to how the game loads up the world and the time both were developed. DMC 5 is segmented into chunks vs Bloodborne having the entire map somewhat loaded in with a few exceptions. It's a lot easier to load in a level vs the entire map. Bloodborne started development around 2012, so like most developers, they hadn't figured out how to optimize the game for the ps4, a console still in development itself. Compare that with DMC5, a game made years into the consoles lifespan, on an engine optimized to run on the base PS4. Of course it's going to run much better. So yeah. Hopefully, I don't come off as an a**hole, just trying to clarify some things.
