The thing I love about these videos is the honest reviews. I watch so many recipe vids on KZfaq but they rarely have someone other than the cook/chef taste testing it. Some of the popular channels have other's trying out the recipes which is helpful, especially when it comes to time consuming or expensive recipes. No one wants to waste their energy or coins. Great Job Goodful & Merle. Only request is to have Tabitha 50% of the time and then it will be PERFECT!

In Indonesia we called it "Nangka Muda" or in English = young jackfruit (?) Because it used to be at savory food, with spices, like "sayur nangka" in Padang rice 🤤🤤🤤

Edgemade Foxe um no, jackfruit and durian are two different fruits, not even remotely similar rather than the exterior slightly looking the same. Jackfruit is drier and fleshier whereas durian has a pungent scent with a creamy texture.

There are jackfruit trees everywhere in my city here in Brasil, we use cooked green jackfruit a lot as a substitute to shredded chicken here.

Hey Merle! Love your videos. A little tip from a person whose grown up cooking and eating jackfruit, just like chicken don't overcook it. You can just directly bread it and deep fry it. You don't need to dry it off. And next time also try a ginger garlic green chilli paste while marinating it.
