Spider-Sonas honestly make me do happy to see, it shows how many people really connected with the first movie and it's concept of "anyone can wear the mask". Spider verse helped me through a really rough time, and seeing the same story for other people makes me so happy :)

I have multiple spider-sonas, my favorite of which was a test subject at an oscorp-alternative,and a clone of Gwen Stacy. Her powers are more protection-based, like creating a shield-like exoskeleton around her and obviously spidey sense. Her best friend, subject one, who was the daughter of Javier truns, the owner of the company, Amelia truns, is her partner in whatever the opposite of crime is. My favorite part about her though is that her guy in the chair, Peter Parker, has a cousin named Parker peters because aunt may was with a guy for like five seconds whos last name was Peters, and may thought it was funny.

Love the colors! And the fact that most deadly creatures have such vibrant colors amazes me and scares me Poison Dart frogs are so beautiful yet so deadly

OH! I had one of a very similar power and name! Dream Weaver! Based on the golden orb weaver. They worked and studied theater in a collage that was also known for its science and a spider specimen got out and into the prop closet when Weaver was on call. And of course, their abilities include illusions which I like to think they use on stage just for extra flare! They help in covering superheroes and villains by making grand illusions to cover things up. I think I had a situation where they conjured up an entire illusionary army of hulks so the real one could smash what he needed to smash lol …I think I made them mainly cuz I was disappointed in the lack of nonbinary characters in superhero media.

My spidersona’s name is Rukhmini Roy. Backstory: She was kidnapped on a field trip and experimented on with a serum that turned her into Spider-Woman. She then returned to her family after the police found her in a warehouse. Things took a turn for the worse. Her parents, Lalitha Roy and Ishaan Roy were murdered by her kidnappers to leave no witnesses. (they didn’t kill her because they wanted her as a weapon) They threatened to kill her best friend Mark James Wu, her sisters Maya, and Varuni if she told anyone. (MJ and Aunt May parallel) Personality: Her regular personality is a nerd. She LOVES musicals, books, and science. Her dream job is a fashion designer. She loves Kaju Kati and Chai (cashew fudge and tea) Her spidersona is a fashionista who kicks butt. She can take an insult about her, her family, her friends, and even her boyfriend, but not her fashion choices. (By boyfriend I mean Mark James Wu later in the story)

I have a Spidersona that I have yet to name! Her color scheme is yellow, black, white, and a bit of light grayish-blue. I'm not sure what her abilities will be that can set her apart from other spider-people. I plan on her using lots more tech like yellow and blue smoke bombs, hallucinatory darts, and more. She will also use two long, black daggers, that she refers to as her "Fangs", sometimes when fighting! She's sort of a vigilante? Like, she works for this big bad villain but is a lot more friendly than the other henchman and actually helps the police and the few other heroes in her world in secret (but she's still kind of villainous with how she's so unbothered by killing, as well as how much she loves fighting, stealing, and using her fellow villains as guinea pigs with her experimental tech and chemicals)

You see, I'm planning on my own spider-sona HOWEVER I have a fanfic Au for someone else's spider-sona: Harry Osborn. I know he's kind of a polarizing character but he's my favorite. His spider bite transforms him into Night-Spider, a black and purple suited hero with a few outlier powers. He doesn't have a spider sense, but natural webs and a clear exoskeleton, fangs and the ability to produce venom that can melt steel and all kinds of natural tissues. He can also talk to spiders, but can't understand what they're saying. Watch out, there's bite to his bark.

Not a self insert spideysona but I have two named Eliise Parker and Ace Westiri, who are best friends and got bit at the same time so everything Spiderman related has been done together. They're super names are Arachni and Wes-Spider, tho Ace had seriously been considering just being called Jeff. I wanna write a fanfic with them and eventually introduce the spiderverse cast to Eliise, but idk yet. Also I already have Ace's death planned. He gets killed by a Harley quinn-esque version of Doctor Octavia who collapses a building on top of all three of them. Eliise has a huge fight with her mom later that week where in between lines of her listing off everything that seems to be going wrong, the lines of her thoughts appear, which is stuff she wants to say but cant. "I lost my best friend." "The world feels like it's imploding" "I'm in so much pain." "And I want to tell you so much." But her mom replies to her "complaining" by telling her to go to her room. She instead makes a face like "are you serious?!", grabs her jacket and runs out while restraining herself from destroying everything with super strength. She wears a necklace Ace used to wear, of the Ace of Spades card.

I don’t have a name for them and haven’t drawn them but I have an idea for one. Spider-sonas tend to based on a specific breeds of spider, so I thought of one based on jumping spiders. Their gimmick is that their webbing isn’t as strong as other spider men, they can’t use it to swing around but can do other things with it. So they make up for it with the ability to easel leap large distances.

Yes There is speculation about if Spider-man is Jewish or not, which I am, (and there's a book all about jewish influences in comic book characters called 'Superman is Jewish', which I highly recommend). My spidersona's name is Akavi Shpindle. Akavi is a play on the Hebrew word 'akavish', which means spider, and Shpindle is a mix of the word spindle and the Yiddish word 'shpin' which also means spider. Akavi lives with her mom, Maya, and her dad, Benny. Her mom is a raddi, her dad sings in the chior at their synagogue, and Akavi is working a summer internship at Alchomex where they're creating superspiders to sell to the millitary. Her uncle Ben moment is when she sees a group of people vandalizing a nearby synagogue (this is after she's been bitten) and does nothing. She comes home and tells her mom about the vandalism, and Maya drags Akavi hack there where she threatened them and scared them off. She gives Akavi the "great power" speech, and they go home. The next day, the whole family goes to synagogue, where the vandals from the other day come and shoot up the chapple, killing Maya and fatally wounding Benny and others. Akavi wanted revenge for her mother, but learns the city needs protection, not vengence and bloodshed. To pay off her dad's hospital bills, she takes a job at the daily bugle as a photagrapher. And moolights as Arachnia: webslinging superhero who is hated by all of New York no matter how much good she does.
