Corns are caused through pressure. Not bacteria. You need to change your footwear, file down the corn after you soaked it for 20 mins. Then don't wear the same footwear as they are applying pressure where the corn is. I had a corn that took me 12 years to get rid of . If you soak it twice a week and file it down every time it should be gone within a month. But change your footwear.

You became very introspective after mentioning your corn. Admittedly I'm not a professional podiatrist, but I'm fairly certain corns aren't terminal 😆😉

Van life sounds very appealing, however it’s one thing buying a van, another thing maintaining one. Everything is more expensive, Tolls, fuel etc…. The Mercs and Fords are notorious for rust. Not to mention how much they can restrict you when it comes to parking and most are rear wheel drive which can make them skittish in icy weather. If you have a few bob and can afford to lose some of it, then go for it, but keep the Ford for stealth camping and use the camper with your family.

You struck a cord with your chat about your dad and kids. I lost my dad 3 yrs ago and don’t have many memories of things I did with him growing up. He was just focused bless him on making money to give me and my mum a good life, which he did & I’m grateful for that. I just wish I had more quality time with him. Now with my own kids I try to make as many memories with them as I can but since my ex moved them 200 miles away, it’s been rather challenging but I still try. Like you said though, as they get older they are less and less interested to do anything like camping or hiking, last time I had them camping was 8 months ago. I won’t give up though, there is always hope. Good luck with your kids mate 🙏

This bought back some memories I had to drive one of these around bath spa doing some deliveries I got lost and had to drive around some tiny streets with car parked both sides of the road nothing was coming past me 😂 I felt like I was the king of the streets 😂 great video might try this myself 👍

I've driven a Sprinter (not long wheel base) just the standard sprinter for 2 months across Australia doing over 7000 miles and considering we've never stayed in a van I can say one thing.. they are amazing to live out of!! Very big and a lot of room to do your own things

I really admire your honesty and openness and I'm with you when it comes to building memories with your kids 👍 When mine were little we didn't have a lot of money but we used to spend every spare penny we had on 'fun stuff' instead of furniture etc. We saved up for a caravan and went all over the place, kayaks to go white water kayaking and even stuff like playing on a lake with an old massive tractor tyre innertube that we'd persuaded a garage to give to us 😂We had so much fun and our kids are grown up now but still talk about everything we did 😃 We'd realised that when they grew up they'd remember all the fun we had, what kids are going to remember that they had a gorgeous 3 piece suite or a lovely carpet, our house was clean and comfortable but it was miles away from being up to date and posh and we wouldn't change a thing. I love your attitude and as far as your kids are concerned, they'll have so many memories to look back on and they'll love you for it 😃 .... oh my days, you've got me being all philosophical now 🤣

I've finally just moved out of my Ford kuga into a Ford transit custom. Short wheel. And I love it, the sprinters are just to big, for me. Even if I am 6ft lol. Going from a car to a van is good. But I miss the stealthy side of living in a car.

If I could have any vehicle for a camper, Id choose the MAN Support Vehicle 4x4 (british army) + converted Iso container for living in. Its the best truck I have ever driven, I loved going off road in it! Good times 😂😂😂

Hello Adam thank you for all your videos I really appreciate them I think your dad does love you…how could he not? And that corn sounds more like a verruca which are contagious just as painful and lengthy to get rid of..I have corns on my hands (mobility scooter throttle pressure) they’re hard skin shaped like a cone the pointy but inside causes the pain verruca tends to dip in middle and grey fungus y dots inside and as you mentioned spread…to others 🫤anyway big love❤

Greenmotion were on Rogue Traders some years back for renting dodgy cars..... don't think it's great service when you rent a vehicle for a day to find it's 100 miles overdue a service and needs the fuel filter cleaned. Got a courtesy car once that needed an oil service.... it was 3 years old and had done around 12,000 miles. Always think places like that just don't take care of their vehicles properly.

Been saying you need a van of sorts since day one mate! Granted maybe not an extended wheelbase, but you look right at home in a van!

I’m very surprised that the XLWB doesn’t have a rear view or a backup camera. Are you supposed to just rely on the side view mirrors? That’s kind of crazy. You couldn’t see if an emergency vehicle were to come up behind you. I believe in the US it is unlawful to not have some kind of rear view. I Love your soul Adam. You are an exceptional human being.

Wow that was a van and a half you think it would have a rear view camera. You did well driving that around after driving your crib. Living the dream is what is all about van or no van just getting out of the every day grind and enjoying nature in what ever you can and most of all stay stealthy.

If you forget or don't know what side the gas tank is on in a car , look at the dash, where your gas gage is , there is a little arrow. If it's pointing right , your gas tank is on the right. If it's pointing left ( in the US most point to the left but not all. ) then it's on the left. Here in the US now the gas stations reach both sides so it's no big deal. But the older gas stations you still need to go to the correct side. I didn't know this till about 5 years ago and I'm old as sh!t 😂😂😂

Another fab vlog Adam, sometimes I think a van would be nice but then I think, where would I park it at home,the running costs are ridiculous i.e diesel/petrol,parts if it goes wrong,tax,insurance, it all just puts me off really when I can just jump in my car and its cheap to run,there's a lot to think about there. Hi Adam! I was expecting the biscuit tin😂 I heard you say taking a bike or such. Most vans make a raised bed and call the room under the bed.....the garage...where they put things like battery's, bikes and other gear. Just saying...you don't need to get the extra long then😊 I'm curious how the next trip in just a car will feel like now...not to mention the biscuit tin 😂😂😂 I like the carcamping you do because it's the most accessible for most people. A big campervan seems intimidating at first be trust me you soon get use to the size. A rear view camera is definitely a must though

Just get a swb van be big enough for you, It would be easier to drive around especially in scotland, and you can park it in a Car space at the shops.
