here's a tip i learned about mixing products. just take a little bit of whatever gel and leave-in you use and mix them together to see if they get all clumpy and white; if they're clear then they should be just fine to combine in your hair. this means you don't have to waste money and wash out product or worry about flakes too much 👍

DISCLAIMER: DO YOUR RESEARCH Y’ALL. (Also the song is Finesse by Bassblowers, it's on my soundcloud linked in the bio!) I cancelled ecostyler because it literally burned my scalp and left me with scabs, not because of the hype surrounding some of it’s ingredients. Wetline has a few of the same ingredients as Eco, so again, do your research! If you’re concerned about ingredients, Cosmeticsinfo.org and ewg.org are great places to start. I personally don’t see anything wrong with the ingredients and how they’re used in today’s personal care products. 🕺🏾

I tried Ecostyler again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. After day 2 by scalp was RUINT. I don't know which chemical does it, but I'm cancelling for good. I was glad to finally find someone who experienced the same torture that I did under Eco!

WillOnAWhim Will, if it looks as though your products aren't meshing well or you flat out have flakes, use warm water to smooth your hair and it'll eliminate the white residue flakes.

AMAAAAZING!!!! I did that combo last week (not knowing the incredible results I would get) and my boss actually asked me if I went & got my hair done 😂 👌🏾👌🏾 I'm out now though and can't find the gel anymore 😭 all I can find is the one with the blue top.

I just started my natural hair journey and I got the welting extreme gel from a friend. She stated it made her hair hard. I wanted to try it for the definition and to see if it could do something with my 4Z hair! My hair does look great, I actually wore a wash and go outside. I usually start a wash in go and then slick the whole darn thing down and wear a ponytail for the week. This gel is a game changer for me. Well, will keep watching for more tips and tricks. Thank you Will! I use wetline too. It does way better on wash n go than eco styler did - which was my favorite. I had this on hand and started using it and I like the price as well. Got the clear from amazon and the blue from target. It was like $4. I had to check the price twice. Oh well Enjoy your videos.

I love this gel so much and I usually use it with the Cantu leave in conditioner and I use a wide tooth comb to separate the curls😋😋 it works soooo well and i don’t have to do full braid outs any ore to get the nice curls I want😝

You should try Softee, it has the same ingredients as Eco Styler... you will get wayyyy better definition using the Softee Gel. The Wetline isn’t thick enough in my opinion...it’s more watery...probably better for someone with fine hair.

I love softee gel. I even used it slick back my hair before I did the big chop because for some reason other products couldn’t get the job done or if it did it would be watery or leave white stuff on hair.

I had a ton of flakes with the jamaican castor oil leave in and a ton of flakes with the cantu curl activator cream but the creme of nature aegean hair milk mixed well

Best gel for low porosity and protein sensitive hair! Eco styler gel has proteins that my hair can’t handle which makes my hair feel straw like and I also get CRAZY single strand knots. I’ve lost INCHES because of Eco styler 😭

OMG you had scabbing and itching from ecostyler too!!!? I thought I was the only one. I honestly think it's a wheat protein that's in it that causes that reaction. I tested it out by eliminating wheat completely from my diet and my life has been changed drastically for the better. You may have a wheat intolerance. Look into it!!

I remember when u did post that vid about an ecostyler replacement and when I saw how it looked on ur hair, I went out and bought it myself. I am 13 years old with mixed hair so some parts of my hair are like your when other parts are 3a, 3c, and 4a. I am still figuring out my natural hair and your vids help so much, I will admit the la belle gel did not give me the best “clump factor”, but for a girl like me that has to use her own money for hair products and is tryin to find a cheap solution. This has helped me out a lot. Keep posting great vids, ilysm I will think about the xtreme gel and how it would wrk on my kind of hair. Lots of kisses and hugs ❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️
