Quick update: I do think that I received the last iteration of the gummy sheet mask. I believe the new formula IS the one I wanted! I wish there was a better way for some of our retailers to sort this out. I don’t want them to waste/throw away product, but…wouldn’t communication also mean SO much with these reformulations? Especially as some people preferred old formulas and are seeking those out; meanwhile others may be avoiding certain ingredients. Maybe preaching to the choir here, let me know what you all think. I was gonna say! This happened to me when I ordered some from their NSHALF sale. They showed the newer packaging and I thought i would receive that. I did not. LOL. I have tried the new iteration of the gummy heartleaf mask and it’s wonderful!

I've been using the Ma:nyo Bifida Biome Complex ampoule for 4 weeks now and I can see the difference, my skin feels healthier and I also had really bad allergies this week which would normally be carnage for my sensitive rosacea and acne prone skin but it's held up so well - so thank you very much for that recommendation! Also, have you seen the 'fond farewells' section of The Ordinary's website? They're discontinuing 5 products: the chia, borage and sea-buckthorn oils, the vitamin c suspension and the 2% granactive retinoid in squalane.

So glad to hear you’re enjoying it! I’m bummed about the discontinuations, but I don’t think it’s the biggest loss. It’s fairly easy to find our favorite carrier oils for a better value than skincare brands offer (via companies that focus more on oils vs skincare). My favorite oil is Tamanu oil, and I got a 4 oz bottle for $17 (from a brand that focuses on essential oils for aromatherapy haha!)

I have really enjoyed the Abib overnight mask or my skin has really enjoyed it. I also got it in the advent calendar and I have dry to balanced skin. I use it at least once to twice a week on my hydrating night. I love using it with the Stratia lipid gold under it as my moisturizer.

Hi Alice. Great video update on Abib as the heartleaf toner is my top pick that helps with inflamed skin. The Jericho rose serum is another bifida ferment serum which helps with skin barrier function. 😊 I am torn between the Jericho rose cream or the probiotic overnight mask since both are the last step of night routine. Great recommendations and will await your rankings soon. 🎉

Yes, it’s a tough call! I think it’s either/or, with the most dry skin types maybe preferring the Jericho rose cream and other skin types preferring the rice

I love Abib and used many of their products, especially all their sheet masks, the heart leaf mist, hydration cream, and the Probiotics Overnight Mask. I always use face mists and have been through many of the face mists, although I don't care about fragrance and EO, I love how fine it is rather than squirting out so I keep the bottles and reuse them for other tones for that fine mist, as so many mists either cannot be opened so you have to throw them out, or are not a fine mist. I recommend the hydration cream in the white tube for dry skin. I also have the sunstick. I do want to try the other products especially the heartleaf cream and that sunscreen essence. The stick was ok but I prefer normal sunscreen

Yes, I feel you bigtime on the mist bottle. I cannot stand the brands that seal their bottles, how unbelievably stingy is that!? (Ahem glow recipe - I loved that mist so much, won’t repurchase because they sealed the bottle lol)

Went to look at buying that Paulas Choice SPF 50 Lip Balm the other day that I mentioned to you in a previous vid. It's around NZD20 (USD12) and there is no way I will pay that for something I will go through so quickly. You're right, J-Beauty has some great alternatives at a lower SPF that will do the job nicely. Please do not waste your time on the Blistex versions, those things made my lips dry and crusty. Sending you love and hugs during this difficult time.

I love the Jericho Rose Creme although I do have to top it with a slugging product. I just picked up the Rice Probiotics Overnight Mask at Winners (Canada's TJMaxx) and am excited to try it.

I ended up giving my daughter the heartleaf spray. It wasn’t enough for my desiccated mummy dry skin in dry Aussie winter. She is loving it. Would probably be fine in the summer. The bottle and mister are great though.

Based on Alice's mentions/recommendations, I got a couple of Rohto Mentholatum, specifically the Premium Melty Cream Lip Balm (SPF 26) and the Melty Cream Lip (SPF 25). The first in Blooming Honey and the second in Milk Vanilla. These have no SPF taste and actually have a pleasant taste added in (I'm guessing the honey and vanilla added). Also, ELF now has an SPF lip gloss (not balm) - the Sun Boss Gloss (SPF 25) that is zinc oxide. No taste that I noticed. Nice texture too, not the stringy/sticky lip gloss. Then, Burt's Bees has an SPF 30 mineral lip tint balms (and maybe some non-tinted). I haven't tried those.

Hi Alice! 😃What a treat to see you on Saturday! 🥰 I wanted to let you know that I had missed not seeing you yesterday that I did a deep dive into some of your older videos - one in particular that peaked my interest was from 4 years ago (you look younger now, than that video and what a different set up for your videos). Anyways, I digress - I watched your Get RID of Forehead Lines (Science-backed Results!) video - loved that. I know that your videos are most likely lined up for the year - but, I would love to see you do a video about forehead lines and update any products that you would recommend or have tried. Thank you in advance! I have not tried anything from Abib yet - but, the Jericho Rose Creme looks like something my skin would love and I always like to try new eye patches. Is there a rose scent in that creme? I am not very fond of rose scent. Looking forward to some re-ranking videos - I am currently using the Manyo bifida serum - I am being very kind to my skin for awhile and keeping things a little simpler. I'm usually more for gel-creams and lighter formulations for my moisturizers and the jerico-rose defto aint for me. But a few times a week I'll do the Rice Probiotics Overnight Mask and it is great. It is occlusive yet it works fine even in the summer heat for my very picky skin. I just cannot do vaseline or Aquaphor but this works like a charm. I personally also really enjoyed their toner pads and have used them as a sheet-mask-y way when my skin is very irritated and they worked wonders for calming it down. Might need to pick up the toner next since I did not like the mist but toner sounds very promising indeed. Their sun stick is very glow-y but nice for reapplication.

I used to love the Abib sunscreen drops, and I didn’t even realize they had fragrance in them- which I usually avoid like the plague - because I really don’t feel like you can smell anything. I liked being able to mix them with a tinted primer or moisturizer for the days when I don’t want to wear BB cream. However, summer came and I began to sweat, or get in the pool, and boy do these drops burn my eyes!

Every time I had to add my name to an office printer/scanner I'd put an asterisk at the front to push it to the top of the list. I tried 1-2 things from Abib but honestly while it's good for the price point I don't know if anything felt like my favorite. As far as re-reviews... I don't know that there's a specific brand but I remember you did a lot of Western brands years ago before you did as much k-beauty. It might be fun to pick out some hero products from those prior brand reviews and re-assess them using today's skincare standards. It's hard for me to remember all the details, but maybe you could do something like go back to a favorites video and use that as a baseline. I did a quick search and there was one from 5 years ago titled "MY SKINCARE ROUTINE/FAVORITES! What Cleared My Skin!" with Clarin's double serum... EDIT Addition: Of a similar note for a video concept, high cost western skincare that's still worth the money.

The rice sleeping mask texture is not made for everything so in order for me to finish the product I were use another layer of sleeping mask on top of it to make it not so sticky or wired feeling

Interesting about the rose. While in Costa Rica other than like Nivea they sold oil fo rose. I wish I had picked up some . The locals swear by it even for hyperpigmentation. The only things I have picked up have been from regime labs/ transparent labs. Their copper peptides and urea face serum ,love it. I am again on the hunt for an eye cream I can actually see a difference, daytime I'm using Mary and May tranexamic. Disappointed in Medik8 eye stuff. Maybe it's just meant to be.

Hey ALice, I wonder what helps to heal a popped pimple (happens to the best of us and also some need to be popped safely of course)? Mine are on my chest/decolte area and I dotn know how to help them heal after popping, they dont heal for a reaaally long time. If not popped- same. And how to prevent on the chest? Would salycilic do anything (i thought it is only food for blackheads and not pimples)? I kind of feel stingy to use my tretinoin on a large chest area. Thinking between glycolic and salycilic (my skin is NOT sensitive)? Or can I apply LION ointment After popping? Also, everyone talks about silicone tape for scars and those maybe can be applied after opping? uch this topic needs a seperate video, I swear people need this!:)D

There are brands that sell body mists/toners for acne! I’ve tried both the ones from Versed and from Medicube. Salicylic acid based, yup! And I’d say not to pop, but rather use hydrocolloids. K-Beauty has the best prices here but Zitsticka does have some body patches that are all-in-one (anti acne ingredients included). Pricey as heck but they work really well; I cut them up into smaller pieces haha!

I am European so US skincare is not accessable anyways, while Stylevana serves the while world;D you kno wmy pimples dont go away if i dont pop, those hard ones.. I overall think that derms teach not to pop just because people do it in unsanitary ways, but of course i do it in professional way;D otherwise, why when you go to the salon they pop it for you but you cant yourself?... Also, i have so many white scars on my chest, not sure if anything could help?

11:18 ive been suffering from dry patches recently due to using differin Alice, and im wondering if this would solve the problem, the thing is i like my moisturizers to be moisturizing in the sense that its softening, would you say this is the kinda moisturizer that soaks into your skin and leaves a soft layer on top?

Yep he and the huskies are doing just fine! My mom took Roxy so her dog Buddy could have a friend, and they’re doing great. So all the beings are good, which is the most important! It’s just a matter of figuring out how to handle stuff (of the possessions type), memorial services, etc. I definitely feel motivated to never own a lot of things, especially things that are being paid off. One house, one car = that’s already enough, I’ve decided!

@@AliceintheRabbitHole Oh My, how awful, I'm so sorry you lost someone. That's traumatic for sure. Was it an accident or an illness. It seems sudden. Nice that Roxy found a home with your mom, hope her little guy is enjoying the company. When my mom passed away my evil older sister had power of attorney. She kept anything useful and also absconded with all her money except what she put in annuities, etc. Be very glad you're not fighting with your family at this time. It's hard enough to have to deal with everything happening. Really; Bless you for taking the huskies.

✨💗Take extra good care of yourself now! 💝💝💝✨ I'm curious about how you'd feel about one of my absolute favourite brands: House of Dohwa. They have a lot of products made with rice 🌾 and I love their (very affordable!) quality masks and rice powder wash 🍚 and their rice toner 🍶 I think you might like them too! My skin is normal but can be reactive and therefore I often use products that are unscented and for dry/sensitive and acne prone.
