As a hairstylist, One tip I would recommend is to comb through the hair when applying any type of conditioners/mask, that would help with detangling a whole lot and you’ll notice a big difference and get the best results from that product when you rinse it out! Combing it through helps to distribute all the product to every hair strand and lets the mask/or conditioner do it’s thing and detangle a lot better afterwards. Love watching your videos btw :)

Definitely recommend a wet brush for this with soft bristles. I’m a huge fan of Tangle Teezer. :)

Also I feel like if you just brush it before you even start the shower.. then when you apply shampoo things should stay in place unless your scrubbing your hair against each other like your washing a rag.. but hopefully not!

@@ingridkincaid1187 Dry brushing hair can actually lead to damage and make fragile hair rip where it is tangled. I exclusively brush my hair with conditioner and styling creams in.

Great video Heidi! I have a similar Turbi And what I do is I put a plastic shower cap and then the Turbi on top when I’m doing treatments and it really helps to penetrate the treatment into my hair. As far as drying hair I had the same problem it will not dry my hair. Keep up the great videos! Big hugs from Canada!💕

I just finished my classes and I saw new video from Heidi and I instantly clicked. Always a pleasure to see and hear you🤗🤗 Your voice is so peaceful and very calm. When you finished with the Kardashian familly, could you try others celebrities hair care? Maybe Jennifer Lawrence , catherine Zeta-Jones - a brunette like me😸😂 and maybe Angelina Jolie - another gorgeous brunette😂😸😂😸 Thank you😘😘😘 Btw, for tangles I would recommend the Moracconoil hair brush....it is very big and detangles very well, plus it gives you a good massage to your scalp😂😸

I have thick hair that takes forever to dry, like you. If I wash it at 5 o’clock in the evening, it’s still damp at 10 AM the next day. I use a couple of steps - when I get out of the shower I use one of the aquis ‘s hair turbines while I put on my body lotion and face moisturizer. So like 10 minutes. It absorbs a lot of the initial water. Then I brush through my hair with the leave in conditioner and put on a new hair turban for about an hour. It really speeds it up, but it still needs a couple of hours to air dry. I find using two gives me the best results so the first one absorbs the majority of the initial moisture.

You make my day when you post Heidi. You don’t make me feel guilty for wanting to have sleek hair instead of natural hair. I’ve been dying to tell you that I tried living proof no frizz shampoo and conditioner. My hair and scalped loves it so far!!! It’s silicone and sulfate free too!!! :) I also tried their restore spray for heat styling protection. I think I’m in love with this brand!!!

Heidi Omg, I took scissors to the whole mess about three months ago. Found out i have half curly (back) and half straight (front). When it’s only an inch long, you learn things. My daughter trimmed it up after my massacre. I actually loved being able to just wet it and go. Now it’s grown into a short bob all on its own, and now I straighten it again. I loved the freedom but think I look better now.

I read somewhere that shampoos that don’t lather are actually better shampoos for your hair.. is that true?? I personally can’t stand the ones I’ve tried that don’t lather they leave my hair feeling dirty. Just wondering if the better the larger the better the clean but does a good lather strip your hair of the good oils needed to keep your strands healthy & strong. 🤷‍♀️

Me interesó mucho este video, por que Kourtney tiene gustos mas naturales, pero a veces cuesta que den buenos resultados, especialmente si nos desesperamos en el momento detox, esas toallas pueden sustituirse con microfbras, son muy económicas en supermercados o tiendas de telas, no es que sequen mucho, se supone hacen menos daño que las regulares.

I don't know for sure if you already did this but maybe it's good to oil your hair at least 30 min before washing it. Then detangle it and then start washing it.

Sorry to say that going non-toxic with my hair care routine RUINED my hair. I've got fine, dull hair and I tried to get rid of my chemical-rich shampoos and masks for health reasons. I used expensive brands like Rahua and Briogeo and in six months, my ends were the most damaged they've ever been in years...I don't think these products work for long hair and exclusive usage. Maybe switch them up with a good, "toxic" mask every once in a while :)))).

@Ashley, yep. I thought I was doing everything right, but apparently I wasn't. I used the "Intense Repair" line from L'Oreal Professional for years and, even without regular trimming, my hair was glorious. Then they discontinued it and I decided to switch to a "clean" brand. I tried some other SLS free brands before Briogeo, and they were all sub-par, then I finally went for the DDR line, and I was really pleased for about half a year. Then I gradually started to experience A LOT of split ends and breakage, unprecedented I might say. After a couple more months I finally gave in and switched back to conventional products. My scalp wasn't really dealing well with the clean formulas either. My eczema returned with a vengeance, so now I'm using a medicinal urea based shampoo for my scalp, and the Loreal Pro-Longer line for my ends. The Intense Repair shampoo was hands-down the best shampoo I ever used - my hair was super soft, little to no breakage, no dadruff, no eczema, exceptional. So sad they discontinued it...

@@ladyravenlove same... I was using loreal for the longest time... my hair was voluminous and shiny. Then my stupid head said lets go "clean"... to "customized"... And tge downward spiral began... Briogeo 'don't despair'made me despair even more... I wish i sticked to those drugstore ones... Now i have started using Tokyo labs products and hopefully they help me in some shape or form.

@@mio0101 totally understand. I bought the Chronologiste mask from Kerastase at a sale and it really, really helped. I won't be using silicone-free masks from now on. A tub of Kerastase lasts me a good half a year. Ever since Loreal changed their formulas, their professional range gives me massive dandruff and irritation, and my hair breaks off. They "fixed" something that wasn't broken. Haven't heard of Tokyo Labs. Are they good?

Natural products like Shea moisture and mielle worked for my hair for half a year then stopped idk why. My routine used to be before washing an oil treatment I used argan oil on the ends and let it soak for an hour then wash with the Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil shampoo and conditioner.For hair mask the Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil mask or the mielle rosemary mint mask(every time I washed my hair once a week I used a hair mask).After the shower the Shea moisture manuka honey leave in and the mielle rosemary oil.Then just let my hair dry.Then apply the mielle rosemary mint oil when my hair was dry every day. My current routine is the ogx coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. Then after the shower the ogx weightless coconut mist or the ogx coconut milk serum.These products smells amazing.Then I’ll wrap my hair in a microfiber towel wrap.I air dry my hair (it takes 30-40 min to air dry).For refreshing when not washing I use the not your mothers clean freak dry shampoo.I wash my hair about twice a week. My current routine is much more simpler and it works for me as you can see in my pfp.

@@heyyyyy5483 there's definitely a reason why professional, salon brands use silicones in their products. They simply haven't found anything better. I heard good things about Davines, but their sulfate free shampoos don't work for me at all. I get really bad build-up from SF shampoos generally. Maybe I'll give the hair masks a try, but up until this point, NOTHING beats Kerastase. They are by far far far the best in my opinion.

Shampoo that hasn’t tangled my damaged ass hair.. and seriously I was so SURPRISED because I ALWAYS need conditioner now.. no.. this shampoo didn’t make my hair feel like hay which is what it feels like when water touches it😭 anyway it’s the shampoo by Ranavat majesty I believe is the name

The only time I use conditioner is to shave my legs 😂 I prefer a hair mask in place of conditioner.

Whenever a celebrity uses only one brand for their hair or makeup tutorial, I instantly think its sponsored. Most people use a combo of different brands. I know I do.
