I went running through downtown Chicago and the gates were open on Soldier Field. Only NFL field I've ever been on and it was without trying too.

I did that once at Ohio State University in the Big Horseshoe and got to the edge of the field…but didn’t walk on it because I already knew I was pressing my luck 😅

Technically it is not as long as there are no posted signs which there would not be at an NFL stadium. If a door is open/ajar as it was in this case there would also be no breaking and entering.
