Looks good but already tried it, it produces no power at all. Hell I tried the experiment with Soil, Copper wire and Zinc screws using an ice cube tray and got 6 volts. That was impressive. One thing I find unbelievable is that you are saying that was 220V and managed to power the lights; with no protection or any way to regulate the volts or amps those lights would have exploded the instant you touched the bulb with both wires. Sorry to debunk the video but if you were in fact playing with 220V of un protected wires, then the instant you touched the wires together it would have sent a shockwave through the copper wire cracking if not destroying the CD's within. Not to mention burn your fingers in the process as at one point you fought to pull the wires apart. Those wires would have been close to melting point. Also if you can build your own solar panels and get 220V from one panel, why do you have actual solar panels on your roof.

The solar panels on the roof have already been installed and they also still give off free electricity. I wouldn't take them off if it were me. Maybe he just recently discovered these DVD disc collectors. We don't know that.

It depends on how close to the overhead power lines magnetic flux you are. You don't even need the cds just cardboard tubes with coils of wire. Done in rural areas where I come from but the heavy fines levied from theft outweigh the benefits from free power.

I found that using older vynal records work a lot better. The black surface absorbs more of the suns rays producing much higher voltage output. Also, if you run the current backwards through the record, you can get what is called a "black light" effect.

A whole lot of time, effort and money just to dupe people 😂 the cds serve zero purpose but for holding the copper wires wrapped around them. The copper wire is a great conductor permitting electricity to flow easy from point a to b. Solar panels uses rare earth minerals that when UV lights are present excites the minerals to produce electricity that stores away inside a battery.

Guys there is a home made battery which holds much more power even than Lithium batteries to go along with this video! The battery manufacturers don't want you to know but if you use tinned and lacquered copper wire, wrapped around dead rats that have been soaked in sodium hydroxilate for 24 hours, all rats in series with each other, you can make a battery that stores 1,000 amps per sq foot of space! Try it with 2 rats to start with and you will see!

@@johnbarry8185 You're right. First time through I thought there was part of one of the voltmeter wires off screen. But no, all three "loads" (meter, motor, bulbs) have all wires on screen so the power source must be inside them. The wire round the CD's forms a low resistance path completing the circuit. The guy is ingenious, one wonders what he could be doing if we wasn't making fake videos.

That's because moonlight is just reflected earthlight coming originally from sunlight. Lessened power output when no moon and cloud cover from starlight. Problem can be resolved by using storage batteries to power lightbulbs which then shine on the cds or l/Ps but the you have to use incandescent bulbs since LEDs don't give off heat, which is necessary for L/Ps to work.

Comments from Claude THIEBAUT I don't understand how this system can deliver a voltage to its terminals! If the potential at the no-load terminals is well 220 V, it must collapse to a few volts as soon as a resistive load is applied. The current which is established in the load is then very low. If this were not the case, 220V would create a significant direct current which would destroy the panel. The power delivered is therefore low, because the current is itself low.

Go to the sunlight filled room and pull down shade and Mop the floor with water when finished mopping open shade and let the sun shine dry the floor time it. Then Mop the floor with again pull shade down and add fan as you Mop the floor any speed low speed will dry floor also when finished mopping open the shade but I give you a hint floor drying is almost complete time how long it takes. This makes good teaching kids and grown-up science.

I think you made a good-looking (decorative), partially anti-solar panel, (you can make it totally, with more CDs, to cover the whole surface, so it creates a full shadow). Hope it won't melt in the sun, and the silvery surface reflects the heat and light. The copper filament could make a solenoid, only to generate electric current, it would need a powerful magnet, or continuous movement in a magnetic field 🤔😏😔🫢🤭
