Good day guys :)
Sorry guys about the head lubrication but soon i will make a V2 engine with proper lubrication system.
I know you are wondering that why i turn this Old compressor into engine is because I want to explore my knowledge into something different that i never tried before.

It's good enough. It's just a model engine, not meant to actually power anything. Just spray some oil on the cams before running it and you're good to go.

A 4 stroke build! Nice! One of the most impressive things about your channel is that you're able to complete such ambitious projects with pretty limited resources. Reusing an old Honda cylinder head, like you did here, was inspired! Can't wait to see what you will come up with next!

Inside the head, depending on how well it's sealed against leakage it could be part-way filled with oil. Monitor oil level between running cycles with a small dipstick perhaps if one can be put in place w/o interference?

When you ajust a carb only do it a half a turn at a time. Dont just keep cranking it in and out. After you rebuild a carb crank the fuel screw all the way in. Then back it out 2 turns, thats a pretty standard base point for any carburetor

Good idea but I notice this engine has no lubrication on head so How do you think to fix this?

To the people who question the oiling capability, yes for the 163 time we get there isn’t great oiling. This is a model made from bits and pieces. Maybe enjoy the video.

The head has Absolutely NO oiling, the Honda style engine has oil running up galleries into the head then through the cam rocker shafts to lubricate the valve gear and camshaft bearings. He would need to make a sealing plate, and oil seal for the cam drive gear and fill the head with oil to a level that it covers the bearings. The rocker shafts would still be poorly lubricated but cutting grooves in the shaft would help.

@@nexus7tablet610 I was thinking an oil drip lubricator as it seems other commenters were. Wouldn't be as good or as reliable as what you're suggesting, but you could probably find parts off broken down farm equipment and save a bit on machining. Just have to make sure the lubricator drips enough oil onto the moving parts.

@@lsswappedcessna There are kits available that tap into the rocker shaft bolt holes to allow an oil cooler to be fitted. If you weld the original cam chain recess and fit a drain tube from it to a tank you could run an external oil pump tapped into the rocker plate, the oil from the original set up returns via the cam chain area to the sump, the pressure is not very high to the top end anyway. The compressor bottom end is forced splash lubrication (a slinger on the rod/crank scoops oil as the crank turns) so should hold up ok at a constant low rpm. Which is fine for a stationary engine. You would still need to seal the cam drive extension piece and externally lubricate the cam chain though, making the piece wider diameter so that the three bolts pass through it, that would allow the outside to be machined to accept a seal.

@@nexus7tablet610 That actually sounds like it would work. Could he replace the timing chain with a belt to avoid the need to lubricate it? I'm not a big timing belt person since the service interval is a lot shorter than a chain (I prefer chain or direct/gear driven timing, of course that mandates using an OHV system with the cam mounted low in the block), but for a cheap repurposed junk engine like this, a belt would work well for simplicity.

Really well done 👍👍👍 but the missing lubrication of the valves, rockers, camshaft and the camshaft bearings in the head will become a problem very fast. You should add an oil pump, running of the timing chain. :)
