I know exactly why the jump works the way it does. Pressing the spacebar is applying a set amount of physics force on the Y axis. He has a script checking whether you're touching the ground or not, and then flipping a variable if you aren't to disable jumping. The bottom of the collider probably clips into the ground, or the script is a little slow, so pressing really fast is letting you get multiple physics impulses applied at once. 9:50 that’s just an all in one computer. I actually had one growing up, but essentially the core components are built into the back of the monitor so there is no actual computer. While it might seem like an oversight you see in movies, it’s not some magic thing that doesn’t exist, there are computers that are built into the monitor (although they aren’t as good for obvious reasons)
