In todays video I turn a bottle of KSI's PRIME into a fishing lure and see if I can catch the most prolific freshwater predator in the UK! I went down the river with a modified bottle of prime rigged to be able to catch pike! I also took a selection of other lures capable of catching fish just in case the prime let me down. I had plenty of action landing a couple fish, but did I manage to catch one on the PRIME?!

Honestly mate if you’re not catching pike then you’re either at the wrong spot or you’re not running a lure within their eyesight range because they will hit anything genuinely. Make sure you’re running just above bottom and you will catch

I was howling watching this, brilliant. You needed an elastic band to hold the trace closer to the bottle body. Wish you hadn’t done this because now you will get me experimenting. That’s a mite too big but what about a Yakut bottle…perfect size, and you can open and close the lid to change casting weight and buoyancy. Can glue a little tail on, even glue on a diving vane on the front. If you had bet me you could do that I would have said no way. But then again I watched a video of a huge Thai cat taking a rigged teddy bear maybe mistaking it for a chicken carcass!! Lol

I remember a bloke catching a bass off Penarth seafront on an apple core, but this is next level! I think you should try a banana and a carrot next and the trebles will just push through them and hold just fine.

I use to have a battery operated bait boat, the pike would sometimes follow the boat and try to attack the propeller, they are stimulated by movement and when they're feeding pike aren't difficult to catch , it's getting to grips with the waters that hold the really 'big' (20+lb) pike that is the challenge in pike fishing

haha. love it. The flash of the real predator (so funny), falling in, losing your net (again!).... I struggle to catch with normal baits! I'm off to pay £14 for a bottle of prime (yes my local supermarket upped its prices to cash in).
